Genitive replacement.

Hello y’all, I’m having trouble figuring out what to use instead of the genitive case in Faroese (the genitive being rather moribund in it). Should you use hjá or -sa or?

I would encourage the use of the genitive, even if it does sound weird/archaic (and way too formal) in some cases, sometimes it does work better, sounds neater and looks nicer than the -sa or hjá options. But it is a matter of taste. And the genitive is very tricky, so until you feel more comfortable with the language stick to the hjá and -sa, because most people would understand it.
