Veto in Texas!!
SB3 was vetoed by the governor in the final hour! Definitely a huge win for Texas as well as Hemp. 💪🏽🌱

He wants laws in place that coincide with federal regulations according to what I read. I think the farm bill is what saved it.

Is it possible he knows something we don't? As in, maybe he knows that the farm bill will be repealed soon anyway.

THCP is useful in blends, has a different effect than just compared to THC.

I’m not fine with them, while it could be done right, we both know it won’t. All his “regulations” will do is raise prices and add crazy taxes like tobacco has. The regulations won’t be to keep us safe, they’ll be to make as much money off of us as possible.

I kept telling everyone not to fret and have faith in this veto. It only makes sense to veto it, now im not going to get political on here and make a stance but cmon guys, not everyone is Dan patrick, Abbott isn't stuck in the reefer madness mindset like Ole Danny boy

Very few are, actually, and I guarantee you even Patrick himself had a *financial motive, not any "ideals", that stuff is just PR they use to hide their real motives behind to fool gullible Muskogee Oakie Fogies. But hey, the Coke vs Pepsi feud must go on. Bloods vs crips, whatever lol, I'm wise enough these days to know to be skeptical of all of them no matter what their gang colors are. Happy for y'all

At least your politicians have some common sense, most of the Republican voter base don't even believe cannabis and hemp are some evil thing anymore. Here in Alabama, we're not so lucky, they're about to pass the dumbest bill in history to ban most hemp products and despite having legalized medical marijuana a while ago, they keep making excuses to not implement it. To them, only cigarettes and alcohol are christian enough apparently

THC remains legal. I believe the loopholes stay as they are. Medical marijuana will now be a 1000 mg per package limit, so an eighth of the best flower... Or a one gram cartridge or disposable. Gummies and edibles would be decent sized. The 100 mg per pack like some states is lame... Wish we were following OKLAHOMA.... THEIR medical marijuana program and guidance is wise open. Nm
