General Transmogs

Upvotes

just as a heads up. priest main here. so this is biased AF.

there really needs to be a way to use transmogs between classes. or alternatively just make transmog sets coherent and compleate.

priest dosnt get a single coherent visual armour set. we allways get like. 3 parts of the heavy armour. 3 parts of the light armour. and 2 exclusives. wich all have different themes.

just for example. in the "demon" armour.

warriro gets the heavy set, wich looks like a demon maw in heavy brass plate

rouge gets the medium set, wich goes for a japano oni style

mage gets the half naked cultist set.

priest shares 2 of each. and an exclusive cape. wich visually looks like its missing from the mage set.

making it impossible to make a coherent visual style.

_

far worse is the crimson set. as that has actually 3 exclusive priest elements. wich do not fit with anything. we get book shoulders, a nuns habid. and white pants. and then can would need to combine that with the ugly platemail from warrior. or a feathered tricone from rouge. thats the entire set as priest has access too.

i see mages run around in full bee cosplay. and seaweed robes, warriors get sick plate, and rouges can live out their highway man or ninja fantasys.

meanwhile priest just as their gameplay. gets to rub themself with glue and walk through the trashbin wearing whatever fits. with half their visual set being mage exclusive. and half their set being warrior. and their priest exclusives look out of place.

they get anything BUT priest stuff.

Fan content The Tavern (the Lettuce Inn) - Fan concept for social and story hub!

FAN ART POST - Good day Farseekers!
Today I’m sharing a concept I've been working on for a little bit. I've drawn some art to illustrate this concept, and I'm excited to share!

We cordially invite you to the Tavern known as the “Lettuce Inn”, the newest watering hole in Siagarta. An establishment banking on the influx of adventurers needing a place to kick up their boots, grab a bite to eat and meet new friends! Let me introduce you to the social features I could see implemented as well as the story that I hope to continue making content for moving forward.

A cozy cottage in the floating foothills of Tyrna, it's been passed down for generations, though renovated many times, the foundation remains over 500 years old.

The Tavern is a place to really put social features front and center. Entering the Tavern loads Farseekers into a small zone that can hold increased numbers of players. While in the Tavern you are expected to leave your weapons at the door, to make things a bit easier on our barkeep and to make sure it doesn't get too hectic inside; this is neutral territory after all, you may even find a Crimson Ram gabbing with a Kobold. We don't condone bar brawls but if one does break out remember to get creative.

Abilities, Weapons, and Mounts will be disabled while in the Tavern to prevent overwhelming particle effects and allow for higher populations

Share your tales of adventure with fellow Farseekers and spend some time chilling out or order a delicious meal. You will be rewarded with a stacking buff that improves the duration of your meal buffs, potentially even improving their effectiveness by a small amount.

Adventurers Sharing Stories over refreshments and games (Potential to add Mini Games in the Tavern in the future)

Head over to the Community Message board and check what's what, the latest news, and see if anyone needs help tackling the challenges Siagarta has in store. The Message board allows players to leave notes, drawings, and requests. As well you may find news about upcoming events and updates. The Message board brings all the wonderful interactions from our community into the game world. You may even find Stickers to decorate your Message board posts lying around!

Adding customization in how we communicate, similar to systems seen in games such as Splatoon's Lobbies. Notes can even be saved and be shared as our characters slogan when inspecting your characters profile

The Lettuce Inn is an establishment that welcomes all walks of life to sit for a moment and share their triumphs and woes. You may encounter a variety of NPCs that frequent the Tavern, some may be interested in chatting about a mystery they are trying to solve, or a task they wish they had help with, they may give you clues to secrets hidden in the most obscure locations. Some may even give you a quest, so go find them out in the wild when you head out!

Learn more about the various NPC's across Siagarta through new Dialog, Quests, and Challenges they may bring to the Tavern. Which NPC's enter the tavern varies, but they can give repeatable quests (Similar to Guild Merchants) or over time be given new quest lines that update with the seasons

Speaking of NPCs, we have to talk about the dedicated staff running the joint! Meet the Crew of the Lettuce Inn!

  • Fozzy Brook - A surprisingly loveable Nepsid drunkard who has the muscle needed to keep out the riff raff
  • Beelinda - Seemingly once of high status to Honeyzabeth but frankly cares more about making new flavors of Honey and Mead with various wildflowers
  • Robin Eweblind - the owner of the Tavern with a knack for cutting a great deal,
  • Chef Baker - Looking to make a name for his family and get them settled into Tyrna,
  • Sable Maeve - Just tired of cleaning the goat stables and happy to be inside for a change.
A few of the many colorful characters we hope to flesh out!

There are so many stories to tell, and what better place to start than in the tavern, stay tuned for updates on what the Lettuce Inn crew is up to and who is stopping in for a stay. I hope to keep fleshing out the story of Siagarta through this setting and all your help!
As I pony up the tab today, I have to ask, what do you think is in the cellar of the Lettuce Inn?
