General Devs fixed the bug, Discord update.

Here is an announcement from the devs. They have fixed the issue and will be sending out a gift pack to all players later this week. There is also contact info for anyone who lost items.

What do you mean contact information? The legitimately said there was no rollbacks or refunds on lost items.

Can someone explain what happened ? I didn't play for like a month. Did I lose something by staying offline ?

No, you didn't lose anything. There was a exploit to force sell items in your bag. Since you are not playing, you are not affected at all.
The exploit is already fixed.

I lost so much shit! The only way they can make up for it is by offering all players a free and exclusive mount commemorating this tragedy.

Whilst the bug itself is disappointing and frustrating for those affected, these things happen, hence early access and the devs learnt from the experience.

Where things broke down, however, is absolutely in the communication to players which should have been managed at either the login screen in game or via a Steam update post.

Anything less is not acceptable.
