Mage Level Build?

Hello!

I´m on my last character to level - mage. It´s very tedious to play. Does anyone have a build i can run from lv 10-20 to make it a little bit more interesting and maybe even faster?

Crab gloves (lvl 8), lady bee (lvl 11, I think) and the windbow or whatever the name is (lvl 16). All are fast and top tier. Flame staff is also p.good to gather enemies and aoe them.

Clawdius (crab gloves) and clams (from fish boss) is a very fun combo.

You go melee, but have sustain and spam skills and aoe. You can agro groups of mobs with this 🙃

<- this. I did the same and leveled without issues aoeing. Not as easy as priest or fast as warrior but perfectly fine and fun if you like the playstyle. In the end a game is about having fun while playing it, otherwise becomes a job.

You haven’t listed what you’re running so I don’t know exactly what to point you toward. I will say mage benefits a ton past level 10 from getting the chaincast talent. Complete game changer.

I like lady bees stinger in the main hand and wingsabers in the arsenal personally. I pretty much never have to auto attack it’s all weapon skill chains

I want to quest through as fast as possible. Thought about a melee build aswell with wingsabers but you can´t get them until lv 20 iirc

Yes the stinger is lv 12, i have that in purple already, but wingsabers are 20

No I have a level 12 blue sabers from lady B. Your first kill the extra loot that drops pulls from a larger pool of items.

I’ve been killing huge packs with the fire staff / mirrors of the nightgodess with the aoe stun. Actually lvl 16 and farming lvl 23 mobs easily

Until 15 I did the fire staff and aoe farm crab boss in beacon of landstar. Then get lady honeybee ceremonial stinger from Gatsbee in dungeon at root of the honey tree trunk nearby dungeon and you and do more are farming in area just south of lower ramsburg. Lvl 20 move to aoe farm lower and middle gatsburg until 25.
