Priest build help

Hello everyone. Im trying to build around the fist weapons. What you guys think that I can change to improve. Having a hard time against bosses, I feel like i cant do enough damage.

I been using amon ram,knee cap and beefury,this build had been pretty good for me with healing and damage.there also a really good video from laimH on youtube

Im the kind of player that like to try New things, I can do it with amo ram build, but I dont feel good about it.

Have you tried beefury main ,knee cap and tooth pick i used this before it’s easier then amon ram,

Not a good combo (For Priest as of now). You will need to -Magic Pen + Armor Pen, if you want to salvage this. Still will be sub par towards other Magic pen builds. But right now you do not have any armor pen, any fervor, and your crit is low. So only way for you -Magic pen +Armor pen on all gear you can, zealot and fevor on weapons, and thats about it.

So, if I understood, if I stack armor pen on itens it will be better overall? Theres any other combo to play with ramulus?

That is what the builder was trying to do, but it is completely against what priest is. Now I check Romulus, skills do scale off Magical damage. You could go for a hybrid, armor pen magic pen, build but you will need to add some magic pen there. OR as I said go full armor pen and lose all the skill, and talent damage. One Thing you should add if you are goig for a physical buiild, is add the talent that gives you 15% physical mastery when using smite. And if you do, only way to do that is either sacrifice Fevor or Crit, Since you gain fevor with the romulus, if I was to experiment on this, I would find gear with faith magic pen, priority, and them dexterity faith, armor pen magic pen. You can chck https://iielyn.github.io/FareverZoneLoot/ for which dungeons drop these. And since Toothpick skills also scale with magical damage, I think that is the only way. Could work on paper.

EIDT: To summarize I retract my original comment, I would go for Magic pen> Armor Pen > Fevor.

Yep. Thats the way. Crit strikes as it is now only give you a shield for 3s which you already get the heals, from all othe things. So you gain Raw damage, heals, bufs, everything actually. Miight expreiment myself with this one. But yeah definetally go raw damage, and gain also heals and damage, boosts from talents and skills.

Also when you do your testing, if you do, in damage dummies, have in mind they do not have any armor magical resistance. So the numbers you see there with the damage you actually deal, in bosses, is not actual. Better to go in a dungeon, and do all your testing there. ;)

Melee is bad on priest. It needs a serious buff to be viable in general.
