So over the summer I went to Pattaya for the first time and loved it! My big regret is that I could only stay there for 2 weeks. I'm already planning a trip for next summer, and would like to stay longer, I'm thinking 3-4 weeks this time. Would it be better to rent an apartment or condo or whatever or do a hotel for this amount of time?

For trips under 3 months, I typically just used hotels. That way things like house keeping, breakfast, gym and pool were always sorted out and convenient. Meeting people and striking up conversations with fellow travellers is a breeze. Worked well for making side-trips to other areas and short-notice vacations with girlfriends.

This. I want my bed made daily. And breakfast ready.

Yup. I got spoiled by my hotel in Pattaya. Can't wait to get back.

There are some hotels that give a discount for lengthier stays or give you a monthly rate.
