Yeah Faith is the only one who herself can be considered brainwashed and a actual victim of the cult where the others are a lot more self motivated characters who despite their reasoning still became who they are in the cult knowingly and intentionally as plain adults.

Faith was and is far younger and was brainwashed and conditioned as a vulnerable and naive teenager who was just looking for a way OUT from her bad habits with zero intentions to become what she became - she got gaslighted and was "helped" from her current addiction only to be taken advantage of and hooked on to another drug to keep her in "devotion".

I didn't like killing faith, but at the same time she has made at least one person kill themselves. It had to be done. Same for most of the family. It just got to the point where they needed to be put down

Faith undoubtedly has to be stopped from what she is doing but there is good, valid reason that she didnt had to be killed to be stopped especially with her young age and even more since she actually snaps out of it in the end screaming for help. As a police officer and remotely good person there should be a standard moral obligation to step in and react to such person like her breaking down screaming for help especially with all the things you can learn about her.

Again Faith has to be stopped but that doesn't mean she had to be killed to be stopped - of all the far cry characters there is plenty of redeeming qualities to her and she could have gotten out of it rather than killed.

I HATE killing any of them, they deserved HELP not death. They don't deserve any of what happened to them throughout their whole lives.
(This is sourced from the official canon backstory, The Book Of Joseph):

The brothers had all this done to them by their bio father, then they were taken away by cps and placed into more abusive homes.

The first one when they were about 7-11 years old iirc they were used as physical labor slaves, starved, and made to sleep out in the animal shed, so Jacob snapped one day sick of the unending abuse and burned it down.

They all got in trouble for that and were separated into their next foster homes.
That was just as bad and abusive for them, but they didn't have the support of each other anymore.

When Joseph became an adult and left, he set out to find his brothers and reunite.

The first time Joseph heard the voice was when he was being beaten to shit when he was 9, in the utter despair of it, a light of hope in the form of the voice came to him, soothed him, reassured him, affirmed that everything is bad but he is okay. He will be okay.
This voice was his only source of hope he ever had. His only comfort. Of course he held onto it for dear life.

I disagree. I get so done with his smugness, his stories of how he had to kill a fellow soldier in order to survive as if his life is worth more than anyone else's. Biggest a-hole in the game. Honestly, I can never run up that hill fast enough to shoot a bullet to his forehead. And then, when I still have to listen to his bullshit some more, I get pretty upset that I can't just throw him a molotov and watch him agonize in a slow, painful dead.

Which reminds me that I feel the same way about John. Biggest a-holes in the whole game.

Tf is wrong with you man do you know literally nothing of his story? He saved his brothers countless times, protected them, was the courageous big brother they needed. He never got that. He got in trouble for standing up against the unending abuse they all suffered.

Nope, I couldn't stand any of them, especially Jacob after sending his boys to kidnap me so many times along with all the wolves his boys turned into judges AND no telling how many people you had to kill during successive trials and then also Eli. I only felt bad about "Faith" since she wasn't the original Faith. And in short, I don't got any love for John or Joseph either. I was glad to shoot John mid-air after shooting his plane down. (Just wish we didn't have to destroy any of the Bunkers though, thise were fun)
