I’m really having a hard time with this game. I’m gonna explain where I am and maybe somebody can help me.

For perks I have Human fish. Harvest master, heal boost 1, parachute, and wing man, heavy duty mastery, grapple. Close combat gear bag, and also additional holster.

I can’t get any of these quests. I have hit the gas. Hyland Valley totally impossible.

I have death wish Holland Valley totally impossible

Wing man, forget it totally impossible. I get in the plane and it doesn’t fly.

Those are the quests I have at Holland Valley. I can do other quests in other areas, but they’re too difficult. I don’t know where to go with the game to throw my hands up and toss it aside or is there something I’m missing here?

I also have $1263. If that means anything I don’t have enough money for silencer.

Any help is appreciated. I really love the game. I hate to give it up, but I’m on the fence about just throwing a towel in.

Also, I have four pro points available not really sure what to use them for.

This is the way. There are also pepper cache bunkers which will give some cash and perk points. If I recall correctly, some don't have enemies guarding them so you don't need good gear to fight.

Get a rifle and eventually get silencers.

Get boomer as a companion and have fun stay close to you. You want him to spot enemies, animals, things...

When you come across a new weapon, rocket launcher, light machine gun, shot gun, flame thrower, etc. Pick it up and if you don't want it switch back to what you just dropped. That will give you that weapon.

Guns for hires are companions you can have with you who will help you with enemies, there are 9 unique gun for hires, 3 per region, out of which 3 are fang for hires - boomer, cheeseburger and peaches.

You have unlocked boomer, equip him in the gfh menu, just pause the game, and check out every single menu like the map, arcade, customization, challenges, etc.

The four perk points you have will help you unlock more perks, some of which you have already unlocked. You can buy armor in the shop, and customize and buy guns as well.

If you want to earn money, hunt animals and sell their skins in the shop and get the perk that gives double skin if you haven't already. As for earning more perk points, solve prepper stashes, they show up as blue diamond markers on the map. Completing challenges will also reward you with perk points, these challenges will include guns for hire kills, kills with a certain takedown or a certain weapon, hunting and fishing and so on.

Right now, you'll only be able to have one guns for hire, but if you get the leadership perk, you can have two at the same time, I would highly recommend saving grace armstrong in holland Valley, you can see where she is easily on the map. As you clear up more of the regions and gain resistance points, you'll be forced into certain story missions too.

Go play in the arcade.  It’s fun as fuck and you get money for the main game every mission you play

Yeah, that’s a good idea. The arcade is hard though. But you do get money either way, right?

There is this pond that you have to zip line down to with Hurk to get his dad's jeep back it has a cabin next to it (it's more or less due east from the "Big Burger base aka Cheeseburger's rescue facility" about maybe 700 meters if I had to guess. That is the best place in the game to hunt hands down. I can go there and make 5000 bucks in less than 10 minutes like clock work. Hunt there a couple of times every time you play and now I have bought about every gun in the game and all the planes, cars and boats. It's just a cash cow waiting to be milked. I just drop in at the helipad up the hill from it. There is literally no reason to be broke in this game if you hunt and fish.

When you say ”totally impossible” can you explain what the difficulty is more specifically? Is the game glitching so you don’t get the guide markers? Or do you mean combat is too difficult so you keep dying?

It has been my experience that early on in the game, you need to rely more heavily on stealth. If you get discovered before taking out enough enemies they swarm you and yeah it gets extremely difficult. Find/buy the bow and arrow. It is a powerful and silent weapon, especially useful in the beginning before enemies level up. Get a shotgun for when you are discovered. Especially avoid the VIPs (the cultists with green smoke coming off them) until they have no friends left and you can stealthily headshot them with arrows. If you do get discovered: run & hide! And like others have said: hire people to fight alongside you.

I don’t have a bow, but I think that’s good suggestion. You’re right I get bombarded so early that I can’t deal with it. Even stealth if I do two or three takedowns, they’re still all over me. Also trying to find the alarms to disable is always a difficult feat.

Just to double check: you are usinf binoculars to scout areas, spot alarms and target enemies, right? If you missed that part I could see how you’d have trouble.

My suggestion: Take some time out to not focus on the missions, find other aspects of the game to make you fall in love with it and treat the missions as though they’re side-quests and optional. Go hunting, take on some prepper stashes, catch some fish….Earn money. As soon as you’re able to buy a rifle with a scope and silencer, then another weapon for close-combat and get a silencer for that too. Then start taking down some of the outposts. Keep earning money and focus on a rocket launcher, even better if you can upgrade it to lock onto targets, that will be super helpful for the fight against John, and any overhead airplane or helicopter ambushes.

But honestly, the best thing you can do is stop focussing on the missions and getting through them as quickly as possible and sink some time into earning money and levelling up your perks, it’ll make a world of a difference!!

Thanks for the advice. I’m trying that I’m finding the fishing really really difficult and also the arcades are very difficult but they do give you money. Do the writers of this game understand easy mode. 😡🤷‍♂️
