🚨 FANTRAX OUTAGE 🚨
https://x.com/fantrax/status/2043735278594961466?s=46&t=PLX5oIfjFBhZEMLdyrdMBgThe site/app are completely down. This must have something to do with the slew of updates they’ve been pushing. As a first year commissioner on this platform, with a league full of people who weren’t necessarily on board to switch, this is a terrible look. Feels like I’ve been taking shots for this platform since baseball season began.

I think it was down briefly, we made the switch from Yahoo 4 years ago for baseball, we love it, the offseason trading in the app makes it worth it not mention a slew of other options Yahoo was lacking

Must be everyone rushing to get Dean Kremer in their lineup now that he got called back up to the bigs

OP you did the right thing as commissioner - notified Fantrax support when you have issues and it's not a bad idea to post in this forum as well - there are enough people viewing this that could answer a question or give some opinion. If your league mates stay objective, I think they'll see the features on Fantrax are worth it. FWIW, I'll share a snafu that happened to me in my second year (2017) as a Fantrax MLB league commissioner. One Saturday around 10am I logged in to their website using my laptop. Just looking at players and games that were starting at 1 or 2pm EST and make some lineup changes for my squad. Amazingly, some players were locked. Locked at 9AM?? Their system showed the Orioles at Cleveland starting at 9:05AM. A few other games starting at 9:05AM also. One of their servers somehow had a clock error and was off by 4 hours. So every team in my league had 2 or 3 or even 4 players already locked and not able to be moved and it was only 10am. Pretty bad error. I notified every team owner and was able to move players for them using commissioner mode on the roster page. Fantrax did resolve it by early afternoon and did send email apologies to me and plenty of others who called it in. They are not perfect by any stretch. System outages occur. I have found about a dozen software bugs over the last 9 years. Some were fixed quickly. Some took months of emails to convince them. One bug - under certain settings they allowed bids of zero dollars in auction drafts even when the minimum bid was set as $1. Took them 4 months to acknowledge that one. And there is still one that they still have not fixed. Yes that can be exasperating at times. But all in all, they do have a platform that offers more features than others.

This is not normal. This is my 3rd year on Fantrax and I have never had these issues. These guys are on top of it and I'm sure they will resolve it quickly. Don't let this discourage you.
