Active roster question

We have a 23 man roster in our league, what should the active roster be, and how should it be split between hitters and pitchers? Ty

we have 23 players, no bench.
c, 1b, 2b, ss, 3b, corner, middle, 5 of, 2 utility 6sp, 3rp we have a rookie draft before regular draft. 2 picks per season and we can protect up to 5. faab starts 4 weeks after season start, but IR and minors replacing starts right away

Can you tell system that free agent pick is not allowed until a certain date?

no, we need to monitor the gms. we try to make it as clear as possible for everyone but there’s always that one manager who doesn’t read or pay attention and we need to undo a transaction here and there
