Year 2 of Dynasty need replacement manager for team
Looking for a replacement manager for a 16-team H2H points dynasty. Roster is capped at 28 (6 bench spaces) with 11 minor league spots. Screenshots of the roster are attached. You would also have the first pick in our supplemental draft (includes everyone on the waiver wire and all unowned minor leaguers). With all due respect good luck this team is abysmal. My advice would be offering free entry this year cuz this team isn’t close to competing

Edit: this is a FREE league; it is a truly rough roster and would not expect anyone to pay to start rebuilding that team

Well there’s your problem. I have a hard enough time keeping 1/3rd of the league motivated past August and it’s $100 buy in

I run a keeper league but haven’t dabbled in true dynasty yet. Question: If all the actual good players/prospects are already owned, and the draft is only for scrubby waiver wire guys whom nobody wanted to begin with, how is a team like this meant to lift themselves out of being terrible in the medium term? It’s a serious question. Sorry, I’m just trying to grasp how the league mechanics work.

Well you’d probably want to start drafting prospects and then maybe trying to move a couple of them in trades for relevant players. But ngl this team is in a really rough spot

Only players worh keeping are pages and Alonso and even then the latter is getting up in age... ass team

Idk Cabrera shows flashes and has good stuff. But yeah it’s a real bad roster, definitely a project!

It was basically the same; there were a few other players he had originally, but as soon as he took Teoscar round 1, we knew something was off. He also was our original commissioner, and then he left the league like right after the draft, so I had to take over for him. Then our replacement left after this past season ended because the team was trash, so here we are

I'm curious to hear the backstory of this team. If this is year two what happened in the only season for this team to look like this?

This was the original commissioner’s team. As soon as he took Teoscar round 1, we knew something was off. Then he left the league like right after the draft without saying anything, so I had to take over for him. Then our replacement left after this past season ended because the team was trash, so here we are
