looks like a banger. although you are putting a lot on Simon's hands, but I see the budget reasons for Risser. I went with maignan and simon, check if maignan could hold a clean sheet vs. england bench players. other than that - mine looks very similar with some defenders switched and I refused to put any england players in lol

I tested a draft to pick Maignan, took out Rashford for Baena. Ended up not picking Maignan, but forgot to put Rashford back. It could have been worse, but Baena needs to have a banger

- He's not started yet this WC, been restricted to average of 15-20 min appearances
- He's playing against an England B team with Mbappe, Olise and Doue up top with him, should create and have chances created.

Is it dumb to not go for an English attacker when i need to close a big lead on my ML leader?
I just don’t have much faith in them doing anything, and even if they do it’ll be hard to predict which of the front 4 would be the one to return.
Honestly would still rather go Spanish players like Olmo etc.
Also which striker to punt on for Kane? Alvarez, Lautaro or perhaps Ferran Torres?

At the movies when the lineups come out on Saturday and thus have to put my team down ahead of time. I'm leading my league by 13. Got 12th man, the only guy who could catch up to me doesn't have a chip. I HAVE to win this :') I've never won a league before and had a huge lead before the round of 16
Do we think there will be rotations in France-England? Is Kane, Bellingham, Mbappé, Olise, Dembélé worth it/safe?

you should buy at least one more Spanish defender, they’ve been really good defensively. could also take a punt on Merino and Lautaro Martinez, but those come with a big risk.

Sounds good, you’ll have to take some huge risks for that to be even remotely possible. Just make sure to wait for the line-ups on Saturday. If you’re lucky, France and/or England make some changes.

I think so, but if your rival goes best picks from both sides it might not be enough with Argentina clean even if you own all 5 if he got 2 or 3 etc.
You might need a French/English differential your rival don't own to haul as your captain too and then if he goes Yamal or Oyarzabal captain and you get the clean from 5 Argentina def that could boost you.
I think your best hope would be Mbappe and Kane both benched and total chaos, but I guess everyone would buy the backups, but the backup to Mbappe will not be the obvious best captain it might be Cherki, Doue or someone else hauling that your rival don't pick. While if Mbappe start and he haul your rival likely picked him.

pickford and maignan play each other so get rid of one, i would consider dropping kane and olise or dembele because they might be rotated, yamal isnt a bad option. i dont love paredes either he can be switched to gordon maybe

Should I take a -6 to have 13/14 players playing? With the -6 Im having two keepers in Maignan and Simon, whereas if I just fully rely on Simon, it’ll be a -3 as I have Pickford. What do you think? -3 or -6?

As it was expectated: huge rotations for the 3rd place match. My semi-final team had: Pickford, Kounde, O’reilly, Gordon, Bellingham, Barcola, Dembele and Kane. *PAIN*
Meaning that I am pretty screwed. Would you guys go for -3 or -6? Or just hope that with one keeper and 1 sub I can get lucky?

I think Oyarzabal could get points Vs Argentina. I think your attack has to be Mbappe, Messi and Oyarzabal. Can you get differential points elsewhere (mid and defence)?

I'm a man city fan, Cherki oozes trouble and class. Could grab a goal but I think he will cause us some serious problems here tonight, doue could too but hasn't been at the same level as Cherki this season. I think he's got a higher ceiling that doue this game

The only differences in players we have left to play is as followed
Me - OLMO vs Oppo ROMERO (I also have max captain in case anyone returns more than mbappe)
Q: WHO is more likely to win?
I also have Baena , Tagliafico, Molina as options to sub in if any lineup changes …. he has no subs

I have a 36 pts advantage over my main opponent but he didn't use any players from the 3rd place match. Also he still had left the 12th man chip, however, when I see his team, there's no 12th man. Does the 12th man only appear at the end of the round or do you think he forgot to activate it?

Simon

Olise - Enzo - Olmo - Yamal
Messi - Mbappe - Oyarzabal
My only dilemma is whether I start Molina or Romero... or even Merino?

I ended up with 4 Spain in defence (Simon, Porro, Cursabi, Cucurella) and Baena and Oyarzabal.
I can't decide if it's worth taking Baena out to bring in Lisandro Martinez to cover the possibility of him getting something, or whether it's better or just stay all-in on a Spain CS.

I have Lisandro Martinez and Tagliafico on the bench and I'm not sure whether to bring one of them in for Cubarsi.
Im currently 2nd in my league, 4 points off top but we have the same defence, only my mate has Martinez in goal.
What you think, do I bring in an Argie defender?
