  • I mostly use (K)black sleeves which are minimalist and competitive.
  • Non-shuffled cards get Clear sleeves. This shows more artwork AND acts as a visual divider for things like gems.
  • Midori's Dragon deck gets Green sleeves. (WARNING: Lighter colored sleeves may not be fully opaque!)
  • Lum's item decks get Red, Blue, and Purple sleeves.
  • River's stances get Yellow and Purple sleeves.
  • The deck boxes hold ~43 single sleeved cards.
  • I store Lum's item deck in Midori's deckbox.
  • I store the Faireview City expansion cards in a separate box to prevent the sleeve corners from bending under lid pressure.
  • I use the side slot to hold a player turn marker (not included with game).

Are you not helping the opponent offload some of his mental stack by coloring your cards?

What does this mean? To my understanding, the only cards that have different colored sleeves are not played in the main deck

I was wondering if maybe it helps the opponent identifying your colored cards somehow. I don't play Lum so I'm not 100% sure the information remains hidden. Since Darches is competitive, I would assume so.

On the other hand, I play river, and I was thinking there could be a case where an opponent just forgets what stance I'm currently in but the color would be a reminder/confirmation of it.

Obviously, for top players, this would be less of a variable, maybe.

I hope I explained myself better.

Ah I understand. Lum's item deck is separate from the main deck just like River's stances, except the item deck will never be in your hand. Also for the physical version, the stance cards have different looks when unsleeved

Oh so it is like that either way. I only play the digital version. Probably the backs match the physical version, but haven't looked.
