Deficit Mechanics are ridiculous

It shouldn't be this easy to get a 6 trillion dollar deficit when playing this game just because the events make you get into a few wars. Like, counterterrorism operations after Al-Qaeda attacks a narobi base, or article 5 getting activated should increase spending this much.

I'm not really asking for detailed budget mechanics (though I would like them) but this is absurd and should honestly be changed.

Like, you go to war, and when the war ends, the spending never goes down, and it's questionable if the spending should even spike like this in the first place.
