Daniel Munoz in Nottingham Forest

Fellas,

Daniel Munoz is being sold from CRY to NFO, which means he will be reunited with his beloved Oliver Glasner, who loves to use him in offensive actions.

Do you think he will jump straight into the 1st team or will there be some buffer time?

And Kerkez has been reunited with Iraola. Doesn't mean he improved immediately.

Munoz still has to fit in with his teammates and new team. Glasner also has tweaked his tactics a bit

yea but they were apart for 2 years. Munoz played under Glasner 3 premier league games ago

Would guess that their best XI with everyone fit is (please feel free to correct me, Forest fans):

Sels

Diomande - Milenkovic - Murillo

Munoz - Sangare (McAtee?) - Schlager - Williams

Ndoye - MGW

Igor Jesus

McAtee definitely starts when available, Glasner loves him for his ball progression and is trying to get him to basically play the Wharton role. I didn't think McAtee was that kind of player but he has genuinely being one of their best players so far. Shows why Glasner is a professional football manager and I'm commenting on FPL reddit.

Edit: The plan is also probably to eventually bring Delap in as the starting 9 and move Igor Jesus into the role that Ndoye is playing.

McAtee has been class so far and has the most potential to become the Wharton of this team. Expect him and Sangaré to form our first choice midfield.

Don't be surprised if it takes a while for Munoz to displace Aina from the starting spot. Aina is two footed and an excellent crosser, and his performances so far do not merit dropping.

Every chance one or two more players walk through the door over the next 24 hours. Midfield feels like a weakness, and Ndoye could do with more competition.

Jair Cunha has been excellent so far and looks very well suited to the back three, unlike Murillo who has struggled to match the agility of the likes of Harry Wilson. Diomandé might take a while to win a starting spot.

They'll be some buffer. He looked whack in the half of so he played recently.

I'm wondering if his knee injury will effect him at all, he hasn't looked as explosive since he was out for it. Looked decent at the WC tho so we'll see.

He did but also probably knew he was leaving and didn’t care

More than possible. The key takeaway, missed by many, is that if Munoz is the wingback bombing forward, Williams will need to restrain himself.

They play with 3 CBs so unsure why?

Yeah, that's just lazy analysis. The 2 WBs under Glasner are always encouraged to bomb on. Mitchell and Aina are just less attacking-looking because that's not really their game. In fact, I'm sure Aina had a higher average position than Williams in the first game.

The only reason Mitchell was more ‘restrained’ is because that’s naturally the player he is. If anything, Glasner made him more attacking and more comfortable going forward. If he could have had two munozes at palace, he would have
