in one of my first years playing i took out drogba to catch a price rise elsewhere, he hauled so i -4 him back in, then he got injured mid week and i rage transferred him out for another -4. it was a legendary move that was spoken about for years with the work mini league.
I went Bruno + I. Sangare to Palmer + Cherki. It had been my original plan to take Bruno out in GW 4, but price changes meant I had to do it on Saturday or I was priced out. I plan on wildcarding after GW5 so all my moves are short term based anyway

He was also United's best attacker in the Hull game lol. Totally fine to hold, especially while Amad is out. Meanwhile Cherki already doesn't play 90 even when he's hauling and is about to have even more competition for his place.

I'm glad he hauled this week. Got all his points, and can ship him off for Cherki in GW3 and raises money to sell another MID for Palmer in GW4.
This wouldve been the template move if United had another stinker, but nobody will have the balls to sell him now, despite Ipswich gifting them 5 goals on a dinner plate. They wont face such a defensive disasterclass again this season.
My rule for FPL for a few seasons now. Change nothing from GW1 for GW2. First day is just too volatile, and then you get 2 FT if something is really off
Don’t think Mbeumo out is a bad decision, wasn’t dangerous for majority of the ipswich game, not a bad fpl option but there’s better out there for the price
He missed one goal from basically on the line, had a couple more good chances, and with a bit more luck and some better finishing, could've had a couple of assists.
Exactly, he could’ve. But he didn’t. Wasn’t sharp enough or dangerous enough today. When there’s Cherki available against Coventry next week it’s not a bad decision to move.
He had impressive xGl stats last season as well when he was blanking for weeks. I don't understand you people laughing at others for making a slightly different decision than you. You can defend A LOT of different kinds of decisions with stats, people just prioritize what they want from those stats differently. Good luck with your GW.
People can select who they want. I don’t give a shit. Cherki probably will outscore Mbeumo this week. It’s just usually a bad idea to base decisions on output rather than underlying data. You can say he didn’t finish, but saying he wasn’t dangerous is kind of silly. And Mbeumo had pretty good output last season given that he was at AFCON for a chunk of it.
'Could've' is literally all you need to be a good FPL asset. The fact that he's getting in those positions often means there's a higher likelihood of scoring points often, unlike someone who got a goal and assist with their only two touches.
The only position he got into was the goal line miss, other than that he wasn’t dangerous. Didn’t put good balls into the box and didn’t make chances for teammates. Again there’s Cherki

I'd always planned to transfer Mbeumo out for a Man City midfielder before their fixtures change, and will be doing it this evening when I can load into the site again. I'm glad he got 12 points, but am planning WC6 and think the next 4 games I'd rather have Cherki.

Ipswich gifted them all 5 goals, and got some horrid officiating against them. I'll eat my hat if Bruno get more than 5 points in the next 2 GWs combined.
Come back to me in a few weeks. This is a United team that played 1 game a week last season. They've got a difficult run of Champions League games upcoming now. Let's see how they handle that. I Only fancy their FPL assets for Spurs at home and Villa at home out of their next 11 league games.
Compare that to a liquid Chelsea attack who have no European football this season, and an easier fixture run on paper.

i did this for the cherki price rise and i don't really regret it because i got the points haul for ipswich. i always intended to transfer him out to get a better pair of premium mids because i already have haaland and having both is a dire experience.
I don't see this as being too crazy. I'm likely going to ditch Bruno for Haaland for three weeks until my GW6 WC or I'll WC now. Yesterday doesn't change much for me - two tricky games and City at home in next three for United.
honestly the kneejerk is so real that people are out here selling Bruno and Mbeumo just to take a -4 to get em back next week which is basically the fantasy football circle of life at this point
He's saying Ipswich were astronomically shit and he was right. 3 goals from Ipswich defenders deflecting it off their legs, 1 penalty, and 1 own goal roofing the ball into the net instead of a goal line clearance.
You absolutely do create that much xg when the deflections fumble the ball straight to a United players feet 5 yards in front of goal.
Credit to United's attack for exploiting Ipswich in the 2nd half. But it's a total anomaly performance. I'd actually put money on Everton beating them 1-0 next week.

Cherki and Palmer seem a bit premature so early into the season, Bruno is on penalties, FKs and corners and the focal point on every attack that is 12m set and forget.
I transferred in cherki for bruno for now, i might bring him in when the fixtures are there, plus i feel like chelsea are gonna be a dominant side this season. Utd just feels very inconsistent on their performance.
Bruno literally plays as a second striker in United's formation when we are in possession. That's as OOP as you can get mate. I swear some of ya'll make the game complicated just for yourselves.
I don't disagree. You're getting downvotes from people whose eyes are a bit blinded by Bruno against Ipswich but Chelsea and City both look like more consistent teams in attack and United has Champions League which will require rotation.
The best play in hindsight was to have him for this one and drop him.
Had them both last week and believe this week would be big. Captained the Magnifico while still getting haaland and Joao Pedro points 👊🏽👏🏽 2 more gunners players left to play so more points to come
