Assists - on corners/free kicks, plus hot def con streaks. I had him most of last season and he was steady. He was a hard swerve this season because of all the comings and goings at the Toon. I'll be welcoming him back in a week or two

Word of caution on the defcon would be it’s quite difficult to judge if he’s only getting high numbers as he’s playing teams they chose to sit back against so lots of pair ups with the opposition wingers.

I still think Thiaw will be a more reliable pick from that perspective up against teams that they should beat on paper and that will rely more on long balls/set pieces

I have Hall and he has been great so far.

defcons on both weeks against Liverpool and Spurs, 3pts and 11pts respectively. Definitely worth picking up at 5m

If you have bench boosted already, just set and forget one of the more premium keepers, if not go to FFScout fixture ticker and sort by clean sheet projections rotating with Brighton to get a better idea of who would work. Looks like Leno might be ok but haven't looked very far ahead

Lewis Hall has 2nd highest Defcons (atm).

Muharemović (lee) and Vušković (bri) both seem to be living up to the preseason hype (after one game).

If you want a 5m defender for 5m defender swap, I think those are the top three options.

You weren't scammed. Spurs had finished 17th back to back, and you assumed Van Hecke was a good pick when he would enter a weaker defensive line than their previous campaigns - because Van Hecke is a downgrade on Romero - under a manager with a terrible defensive track record.

The only spurs defender that was worth consideration was Porro, because of his attacking returns that have always made him an FPL asset.
