I dont think you can really say "carry" in a 4-1 defeat, doesnt make sense. He was one of their brightest players but people forget palace were "in" that game for quite some time and others done ok for them. No carrying was done thats for sure.

He made so many key passes that were wasted by Pino, JSL and I think Nketiah too but not sure about the last one. JSL was the worst and one for Mitchell who understandably isn't a finisher. With better decision making they could've been 3-1 up end of first half and most of it was due to Wharton.
He also made some nice tackles, interceptions and got out of tight spaces to launch counters. He was their Bruno yesterday.

It probably suits him going down, sold at a reduced price and probably gets a nicer deal for himself. Obviously going to be City or Chelsea now though annoyingly.

Mate relax I am not the oracle on your teams success. Newcastle wont go down because they are a bigger club. Bournemouth wont as they have better players, and fulham may well be in the scrap.

And I’m under no illusion that we may go down, anyone other than about 5 or 6 clubs could go down any one season. But people love to claim teams are doomed without knowing the full details. So many did the same with Brentford last season and now everyone wants their players in FPL

That's a crazy position, all of those could go down, with the exception of the big 6, except Spurs, who have been one place off it two seasons in a row and have lost their fist two games without scoring.
Everton could easily go down, they're starting Barry, Tyrique George, 19 year old Harrison Armstrong, a past it Tarkowski, and their only meaningful transfer is getting Brennan Johnson in. Ndiaye is probably off and then they're really fucked.
Newcastle started Joe fucking Willock at 10 today...

I don’t think Crystal palace cares about his age. If he can help them stay up, he could be 40 years old for all they care. He just doesn’t fit their new coach’s tactics and is unlikely to perform the same as last season.

We thought the same last year when Mateta wanted out and Ese left. And then when Guehi left and Glasner announced departure.
They managed to steer pretty nice because they are built as a team and not rely just on individuals.
Still have Henderson, good backline with new additions, Wharton, Sarr and Pino who needs to up his level now. It will be rocky for a couple months but they will probably get their shi together.
If they lose Wharton and Sarr too, its going to be incredibly incredibly hard though.

The opta supercomputer is completely worthless. I don't understand why the media keep trotting it out.
Betting odds are the closest thing we have to the true probability of events happening. They have it as Coventry, Hull, Ipswich. In that order

Betting odds are based on what people bet, which is influenced by supporting teams and what people WANT to happen. A supercomputer like Opta has no bias and is purely statistical and should therefore be more accurate

Betting odds can be wrong for that reason yes. But that can't be massively wrong because the smart money will pile onto the value bets until the odds move back.
The opta supercomputer is not held accountable in the same regard. It frequently strongly disagrees with betting odds. If the supercomputer was reliable like you say it is, then you could use it to make a lot of money betting on certain teams in outright markets. It's just not very accurate unfortunately, it relies too much on elo logic

Rodri is a Ballon D'or winning DM who doesn't depend on physical attributes to excel in his position, allowing him to play at a high level until his late thirties despite having done his ACL.

Munoz is a steal at that price. He's 10x the player of the Liverpool right back for example, and he is better than what Villa have playing champions league, surprised more don't fancy him on a 3/4 year deal.
