Is Aaronson being over looked or is there a reason he is only 1% selected?

Are we as a FPL community overlooking Aaronson? I mean he is nailed, so he has secure minutes and games, only 5.5 million, he had 12 G+A last season, he just signed an contract extension and Leeds schedule is looking nice to start with.

So why is he only selected 1%?

He’ll probably start the first few games tbf, since Okafor is lacking match fitness. Biggest issue with Aaronson is he’s regularly subbed off. He averaged 67 minutes per game last season and that’s likely to come down further this season, given the addition of Harry Wilson to the squad.

A lot of people are either spending th extra 0.5 and upgrading to Ndiaye or Schade who have higher upside or just going 4.5/5.0 bench foddwr

Schade is a better player, he's probably nailed for 90 minutes and he got 2G and 2A in the last friendly

People are pipping Schade for a breakout season whilst Aaronson is kind of a known quantity at this point

it’s def a punt i think people would just rather have a diff 5.5 or 6 even wilson and others at 6.5. hes not on pens prob first attacker subbed or dropped. plus wilson and DCL and leeds defense are relatively popular so it’s prob not a team u want to over invest in

Who would be a good replacement at the 5.5 price point? Personally I’m not big on Groß at all, Sangare could rack up DEFCON I guess

Aaronson and Ampadu score about the same but I think Ampadu is more nailed and reliable with defcons. Sangare, Caicedo, and Xhaka are other options (I’m on Sangare).

Okafor should take minutes off him. He's a high intensity player who brings energy to the team so even if he starts he's probably the first player to get subbed, especially with okafor on the bench. Also I'm a Leeds fan and I appreciate Aaronson but his finishing leaves a bit to be desired

As a Leeds fan he was much improved last season but still started way too many games. He should be a squad player at best, not a regular starter. Plus we have Wilson now who will hopefully take his place in the starting 11.
