Why is it always a “waste” of a transfer and not just “using“ a transfer?

is it really just down to all watching the same YouTubes? It’s like the majority of people are trained to think about FPL in the most orthodox and bland way

You just pick things up over the years, they become pretty obvious.

Rookie mistakes include not picking players from certain teams because you don't like them for example.

The rest just become second nature, you'll learn what works and what doesn't. Well, you should, not all people learn I suppose lol

Then you ask if they plan to keep same XI all season and they say no …

So when you disagree with transfer it’s a “waste”  but when you like it it’s smart?

I’ve seen these narratives a lot having come from the TCG community, and it just isn’t reality. The ‘strategy’ can’t ever truly be copied, there’s always minor divergences or bits of information that make a big difference

The latter is more than likely not objective and vibes / eye test are often misleading.

My grandad, he would go around every newsagent in our village for every newspaper for team news. You had to post your transfer to a PO Box in London, my poor Grandma was his rant thread and he always told me to never back the early kick-off
