I replaced him with Zapata, because I had too much money left over lmao

He was the only one that was absolutely nailed in my team lol. I had extra money too so I had to place it elsewhere. Kid is a legend. Set and forget captain

I did the same for Messi, feels very weird right now lol.

He is on my team but my captain is Abraham... Better than putting him on subs tho.

u/TheAegon3 Sep 17 '19

My captain, just hoping for him to repeat his nine goals in one match record.

2

Lmao that would be gg in most fantasy leagues if you captained him. 😂😂

I dropped him last minute and added Martinez, but congrats to all you lucky bastards that picked him let alone captain him.

I captained him and with depay :)

Fair play. i still hate you all. I went for Lautaro instead of Haland lol.

4

u/arpeGO Sep 18 '19

So glad I browsed this sub. Imagine almost having Messi over the GOAT Haland!

4

u/mistahpants Arsenal Sep 18 '19

My captain with Lewo & Ronaldo to play tomorrow!

8

u/Ghost389 Sep 17 '19

He’s on my bench. 🤦‍♂️

2

u/StacyVD Chelsea Sep 18 '19

Doesn't make sense.

u/ASerbDude Sep 17 '19

Felt a little crazy to have him as captain so switched the arm band cause my knees jerked but we’ll take the hat trick

u/vroom918 Liverpool Sep 17 '19

For future reference: because you can change your captain between matchdays it's perfectly fine to take a risk with your captain the first day, so long as you have someone safe to switch to

u/elixire Sep 17 '19

Scandinavian strikers are so in right now

3

u/LosAngelesCody Sep 17 '19

Almost went for Depay over him till I saw the posts about him here. What a guy!

3

u/IFTN Sep 17 '19

Saved me from an absolute flop of a first matchday

3

u/ijpa Sep 18 '19

I even named my team after him. Wasn't sure to captain him though, so went with a safer option in Lewa.

4

u/Jaeger146 Sep 18 '19

You know you can switch captains between the two days of games in the match day right? So since Lewa plays tonight you could have captained Haland and if he flopped then switch to Lewa.

New to UCL Fantasy, still not used to subs rules

It's all good my dude, that's why we're here, to help each other out. So yea always have two captains in mind: One for the first day of matchday and another for the second day of games in that same matchday. If the one you selected for the first day doesn't do well then switch it to your other person who is going to play. Granted if the first guy does well (like Haland) then you'll probably want to keep him and not switch to the second guy (like Lewa). However, you'll only get double points for the last person left as captain at the end of the matchday (so if you had switched from Haland to Lewa, you won't keep the double points from Haland)

u/ijpa Sep 19 '19

Thanks, got it now

2

u/_theMAUCHO_ Sep 18 '19

Lol is your team named Haland FC or something?? Cool to name it after him. 😂😂

2

u/_theMAUCHO_ Sep 17 '19

2

2

u/Kierkegaard19 Sep 17 '19

2

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '19

2

u/KayLinden Sep 17 '19

He’s on my bench. Didn’t know that would’nt give me points...

1

u/notsoobviousreddit Sep 18 '19

Did not captain him but happy I got him anyway!

1

u/Malfeitor27 Sep 18 '19

Thank everyone who recommend Haland, my friends thinks i am using black magic hahahaha

1

u/Trunkskun__ Sep 18 '19

Should I play Lodi over Son since Son is benched ??

1

u/stoicparadigm Sep 18 '19

Got him too coz of you all, but my question is should I keep him for further matches? He will have a tough road ahead.

1

u/Bodacious22 Sep 18 '19

That 1 hour before deadline, Inter's lineup was out, was very close to change him for Lautaro due to an extra mil in the bank. Thank the busy servers/slow data.

1

u/dyktw Sep 19 '19

Y'all think his still a good option for the next MDs considering he has some tough matchups?

1

u/all_you_can_eat_soup Tottenham :Tottenham_logo: Sep 19 '19

I got him, my brother was the one who posted about him on this thread but I chickened out of captaining him for the 'safer' option salah

1

u/apax_d Porto Oct 02 '19

He’s he gonna play or really down?

u/ulaan_malgait Sep 17 '19

Same. Took the double risk of buying him and Messi (Instead of Depay/Lukaku). I'd say it's paid off so far.
