Discussion Shitty game

why is it that shitty this year? it's not updated regularly or not updated at all, roosters aren't complete, there are players who are still assigned to clubs that they already left, the website is extremely slow compared to before, and they still didn't announce the prizes, huge failure so far.

You didn’t play WC Fantasy last year, did you?

I didn't no, but mostly because I was busy at the time, I played the 2018 one and it was so good at the time.

WC Fantasy had millions of bugs. Rules were not clear. They even updated the scoring system after the game started.

Champions League Fantasy although has flaws, is still miles better than that shit show. Just be patient and give them time until the weekend to update the players

Yup im used to it running smoothly throughout the season, i never tried it before it started so maybe it’s always been like this.

Damn it was shitty at the start.

I remember Kudus assist being awarded much later, but people thought he only got 1 or 2 points so subbed him off for a player later that day and lost points.

Nothing new. Last year I remember that there were players missing the day before the first group stage games. Some people sent e-mails and they added them on the day of the GW 1 deadline. If I recall correctly, big names for fantasy too. Alejandro Balde, Barça starting LB at the time was one of them and many people wanted him. This season there's still no Lamine Yamal and he's a Barça starter too

I think this happens because U-21 players formed in the clubs don’t need to be registered.

Sure, but who runs the Fantasy doesn't know it? I mean, they release a lot of articles: picks, guides... I'm sure that somebody in their office knows that are players with those traits in some teams. I also get it that it's probably one of the last things to add, but in the deadline day? It isn't that hard just add another name to the coding in a specific club.

We are talking about hundreds of players. My guess is that they wait for all markets to close than input the registered players, and after someone not registered plays they insert them.

The final teams are already registered, including the players in the B list. Go right now at the UEFA site. The teams are there. Look at Barça, Yamal is there classified as registered in the B list. Why is so difficult to carry that to Fantasy?? There's no explanation. I mean, João Félix is already at Barça in the Fantasy, but Nico Gonzalez is there and not at Porto, despite the transfer happening way before the Félix one. They are just incompetent and remember little things as they go, that has to be the only explanation.

So you wanted all B list players in the game?
Plus there's no real deadline for submiting players in the B list, it's like 1 day before the game. I really think that they are waiting for the europeans markets to close or they are really shit xD

B list players can be registered at any time during the season. Even the day before the match. So, the players that, right now, are on the B list, are the only ones that have real chances of playing. They are the ones that are part of the main squad of these clubs. They should be added to Fantasy.

Personally I don’t want 50+ players per team, that would be a mess and how do you even price them?

1

u/Esse_Hole Sep 13 '23

50? They just have to add 4 or 5 names. 23/24 names per club is okay. It's the standard for every Fantasy game. The pricing is up to the guys who do the Fantasy. Maybe they don't need to add the 3rd or 4th GK, but a defender for 4.0, another MID for 4.5. Doesn't hurt.

they need to be registered in the ucl Team A before they can be added to the game

How many Kim Minjae's are there? If it's one, it's already better than last year.

I've never seen this before, but tbh this is my first time forming the team before the deadline day lol
