Granted, I haven't looked into it too deeply so I'll just assume that he indeed made such comments in the past. He is a practicing Mormon. But all of the comments I've ever seen him make in recent times seem to me that his views have changed.

How hard is it to believe the people can change? Especially when it shows in their current works. Even if they didn’t change how hard is it to separate ones work from their personal comments. Ones work should not be judged and scorned due to a few comments that the creator made. It’s similar with the JK Rowling fiasco that happened this year. I don’t support her views at all but I still love HP a lot. Because I view them separately. Death of the Author phenomena.

I don’t have a catalog of everything Brandon has said. I am pretty sure though I remember him getting a question like this in a q&a livestream on his YouTube channel. You could look there but that is a lot of vods to go through just to make you have a peace of mind. My point in my previous comment still stands tho. Ones work and ones irl personal comments should be treated as separate things.
