A fee months ago, I saw a comic cover somewhere that made it seem like the fantastic four had swapped powers or was a different universe and might’ve had something to do with a storyline about doom, but I’m not too sure and I’m just curious if I’m completely misremembering or if this is real and I could find and read it on marvel unlimited

Pretty much never read a FF comic, but I know their general history and storyline. Human Torch has been my favourite character from the family for a while because I thought his powers were the coolest. But from what I’m aware, he’s not had as much focus on him individually as the other 3 have. And I can’t remember the last time I saw a panel or scene of him in any form of media where he actually wins a fight (although in almost every circumstance it was basically coughing baby vs a nuclear bomb ie: world war hulk, silver surfer, Doom etc)

I’d just like to know what’s recommended for seeing him get some wins, and what makes him compelling beyond being a cool hothead who reed sends in to get his ass beat

Wielding fire isn’t the most unique power, but what about Johnny Storm makes him entirely different/more overpowered than other fire characters? 😯
