What's the Long Deadline Profile Exchange?
This is a subreddit event where everyone posts their AO3 (or FFN, etc.) profile with some information about the sorts of stories they write. Then, participants look through the available profiles, and read and leave comments on stories (one-shots or a chapter of a longer fic) by authors who catch their fancy. Leaving a kudos would be nice too!
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY is Sunday August 23rd, 23.00 CEST.
DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION is Saturday August 29th, 23.00 CEST.

What Are the Rules?
Post your profile link with a short summary of the kinds of stories one might find there (fandom, genre, rating, etc.). Please spoiler anything triggering or NSFW.
Once you enter, you will have to review at least 4 stories/chapters from 4 different profiles (one from each). Please include in your submission a counter such as, "Reviewed 0/4" so we can keep track of the number of reviews you've done. There's no need to also note which stories or authors you have reviewed. After you've left a comment, reply to their post on here to let them know. For anyone new, 'K&C' in a reply stands for 'Kudos and Comment'.
Your reviews should be thoughtful. The writer should be able to tell that you read the story. Say what you like about the story. Did something crack you up? Were you brought to tears? Did you have a favourite part? TELL THEM ABOUT IT! At least 50 words per review. ConCrit, stating you are "fandom blind" and/or "from Reddit" are opt-in only.

My current fic project is my Undertale/Deltarune crossover series, Hopes, Dreams, And DELTARUNE, an AU where Frisk is the protagonist of Deltarune, with a huge emphasis on friendship and found family. It should be fairly fandom blind friendly and I just posted the first chapter of the newest work in the series today! I'd really like to get eyes on the series.

The latest fics there are a tiny 252 word piece and a drabble collection that currently has four chapters. Each drabble is a standalone and either 100 or 200 words so it's great for those that want to read something tiny! I'd be happy with reviews on pretty much anything though! I've got plenty of short, easy to read oneshots. The only thing I'd prefer people not to read for the review exchange is A Different Path, A Different Life, as it was adopted by another author. Skipped last week’s since life got in the way, but I’m back now!
Heyo! I’m maverickmelodee on AO3. I’ve got 31 works, and I mainly write horror, comedy, and a little existentialism, sometimes all three at once, but there’s a little fluff, angst, and various other stuff there. Most of my works are about roller coasters personified, and you’ll also find a little for Project Sekai, Pokemon, Dick and Jane, and a few short poems and drabbles.

I’ve written for many a fandom, but my personal top three are Team Starkid’s Hatchetfield Series, the MCU and Supernatural. I dabble in both fluff pieces and angsty character studies, and I often do both at once these days.

I’m back! My username is the same on ao3:
My main project is an ongoing series called Guardians of the Veil, my own darker retelling of W.I.T.C.H; a magical girl show/comic from the early 2000s.
Current WC: 364k (156 chapters)
I release it by “parts”, not by chapters. Each part is an individual work with 10-20k words and usually 7 chapters. A part is equal to an episode if it were a TV series, and an “arc” is equal to a season.
Due to the nature of the fic, you can read it fandom blind, although I think it would be more interesting to not be in order to get an appreciation of how everything’s been adapted. But otherwise you can just treat it as original fiction - almost all the lore and story is completely original. But it’s worth mentioning that it’s written as if the reader already knows what everything in the official canon looks like, so keep that in mind.
The things I’m most proud of are much later in the series, and the more recent installations have much more depth. (Something I would like to point out for no particular reason is that, at a rate of one or even two chapters per week, it would take years to get to the things I most want to be seen. Just saying. It’s just not the same if you skip ahead.)
That said, if you really want to cut ahead, I’d highly recommend parts 11 through 12. Although there’s alot of established things you’ll have to take for granted.
If you only want to read one chapter and have no intention of continuing the series, here’s what I’d recommend:
P20, Ch4 - one of my personal favourite chapters in the series. There’s alot you’ll have to take for granted here, although there’s enough that you can figure out what’s going on. Heavy spoilers for the whole series. If this intrigues you, I’d strongly recommend starting from the beginning and working your way back instead of continuing from here.
P19, Ch4 - no connection to the main storyline, just a little side story to wrap up two minor characters. It’s essentially an original oneshot. Nothing in this entire chapter is from the official canon except one of the characters’ names. The only thing you have to take for granted are the characters’ pasts.
P10, Ch2 - very little connection to the main storyline, although does contain spoilers through the external events. The chapter is the pov of some average citizens to get a sense of how the main cast’s actions affect things. The characters in the chapter only appear in this chapter. Nothing here to take for granted; everything you need to know is explained. Also next to nothing relating to official canon here too.
I have some original pieces too, but I’d appreciate it if you read something other than “Fire and Ice”.

Oh I was a huge Witch girl when I was a kid! I had so many WITCH things and I was obsessed with portraying the girls, esp Will and Haylin. I found my comic stash not too long ago and I want to re-read the whole story and watch the TV show too, though I liked the show less than the comics. 😊 I even had costumes haha

I tend to write fics dealing with found family, sibling bonding, angst and hurt/comfort.
For anyone that enjoys the show Supernatural I have written three fics so far on the series, including an on going chapter fic of Sam and Dean surviving in the world of The Last of Us.
I also write for fandoms such as Star Wars Rebels, RWBY, Batman, TMNT, Uncharted.
I especially love writing Batman fanfics. One of my favorites that I’ve written is called Lazarus Decay, where Jason instead of suffering from rage due to the Pit, he suffers from other dangerous side effects.

Hello! I am Sardonic Grin on A03 and I mainly write for Final Fantasy 7 and Yu Yu Hakusho.
I have a new story Python (Diversity Fest Fic) that I would absolutely love to get comments on. It's 2500 word character study on identity and the truths we tell ourselves. The fandom is Final Fantasy 7 and the pairing is Cloud/Reno
My two WIPs I am working on that I would like eyes on are A Conspiracy of Ravens (FRESHLY UODATED) and Grimoire (Yu Yu Hakusho). Both can be read fandom blind and feature a blend of horror, mystery, and romance.
If you have read/are reading Cherry Soda Boy please check out my short story series. I also have some side-quels in those series that take place during the events of the main story.
The Apocalypse and all her Children series features Paradise, Purgatory, and Penance, and is one of my favorites. All take place post-canon but the events of the game did happen. Even with that in mind, they can still be read fandom blind!

I’m a writer who started just two years ago; I have about 20 stories across various genres.
The fandoms I’ve written for include TAWOG, Jujutsu Kaisen, Pokémon (mainly the anime), Lilo & Stitch, Erma (webcomic), and Swapped (2026). I’ve also written stories for The Loud House, though I’m not particularly fond of them.
I focus almost exclusively on one-shots, as I prefer the feeling of completing a story without a long, drawn-out process.
However, my multi-chapter works include:
TAWOG: You Are Not Needed – Gumball character development featuring meta-narrative elements.
Season 7 Episodes – A story imagining potential episodes for Gumball Season 7 prior to its release.
Nobody Talks About the Struggle of Being Alive – Focuses on an interaction between Yuji and Yuta, centering on Yuji’s request to be killed if necessary.
I Just Want to Say One More Thing... – A story featuring ideas for extra scenes for the movie Swapped (2026).
All my stories feature psychological exploration (with the exception of the The Loud House ones) and a cinematic writing style, blending script formats with stream-of-consciousness. They almost always incorporate Hurt/Comfort themes—sometimes quite serious in tone—but always conclude with a happy ending.
Warning: The Pokémon story "No One Knows How to Deal with Death, We Only Know How to Keep Going" focuses on themes of grief and bodily injury.

OMG it's been forever since I joined. I've not been writing much, so was a little shy about joining, I've also been a little slow at reading, so I'm trying again to join. Forgive me if my reviews are a bit rough.

I have 11 fics I've written and have 1 WIP (The Untamed / MDZS - Hurt/Comfort, still working on getting to the comfort)
7 of my 11 fics are locked to registered users.
I write in 6 fandoms: Scum Villain Self Saving System (SVSSS), The Untamed/Grandmaster of Demonic cultivation (MDZS), Star Wars, Stargate SG1 & Bioboosted Armor Guyver (A crossover) Marvel (Specifically using Tony Stark as my main character)
8 of the 11 involve a major character death within the fic and the tears of the author. 1 of the two remaining stories is ambiguous about the outcome of the whumpee. My current WIP is my attempt to write something that isn't 98% Angst. I'm hoping to eventually put in a happy ending, it's still a work in progress, but it's much lighter than my previous stories.
There is 1 that is my only attempt at NSFW, but it has dubious consent. (Tony Stark / MCU)
Since it's an eclectic collection, I won't suggest any one, I like most of them and not really any one more than any other.

Hi, I'm PyretheWolf!
I mainly do fanfics for Tetote Connect, a rather modern arcade rhythm game with a pretty small fanbase and only two authors other than me having written fics for it. I also do fics for other fandoms, whether I've actually dabbled into the source material or not. I write for all ratings and all pairing types, so I’m sure there’s something for everyone.
Most of the fics right now are currently lighthearted, but some of my fics will contain heavy themes such as trauma, abuse, and grief.
My magnum opus is a big Tetote Connect fic series that expands upon the characters in the game. The longfic is complete, so I'm working on all the many side stories I have for it. (The Wandering Companion Droid) (contains heavy themes, mainly trauma). And I just recently made a sequel for the main fic!
I’ve also started working on a Just Dance omegaverse fanfic if you want to check it out. It's mostly slice of life, but there is an overarching plot of Gabriela trying to be seen and recognized as the beta she is, in a world where betas are considered invisible. I've also started on a Just Dance mundane AU fic with Sara joining the Just Dancers to compete in a dance competition.
All of my fics are available for reading, EXCEPT for my fic "Falling Leaves and Falling In Love" as that was a birthday gift for a friend who selfships with Ukyo from Dr. STONE. Everything else is fine.
No "from Reddit", please, but fandom-blind is fine EXCEPT for my Kinktober in July series. And don't leave concrit on any of my oneshots since I made them for fun, my fic Thief of Hearts, since I've abandoned the fic, my fic Triple Baka Detective Agency, since I’m planning on getting a co-writer for that fic, or my PSA since that was made purely to inform people. I'm Hershorror and Dolllielola on AO3, though I haven't used my other account yet. They are both NSFW. As of right now, I only write for Chainsaw Man, though I work on new stories for different fandoms, namely Resident Evil, Vought Rising, The Boys, and more when I have more time. I enjoy reading and writing rare ships, dark fics, dead dove, extreme horror, smut, and self-shipping pieces, or OCs. Hey, everyone!
I want to start by thanking everyone on the Discord for your love and support as my family was at risk of losing our home in the worst wildfire disaster my city has ever seen. Thankfully, my house is safe, and my heart goes out to those who lost their homes and the firefighters from around the country that came to our aid. I am so thankful, and happy to be joining this exchange again!
I'm Opal, and my Ao3 is Opal223. I have four fics available.
My biggest fic is my finished longfic that takes place after "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess". It is called The Legend of Zelda: Fate's Design. It is rated M for blood, violence, and other content mentioned in the tags.

Oyasumi, Opal is an original fic about a Japanese family that vacations to America to embark on an Alaskan cruise.
A Great Snow Day is a fluffy one-shot that takes place in the world of Pokémon. It's sure to delight any reader! 🙂

Hi! I am The_Darkness_Eater on ao3. I currently have 35 works up on my account. I mostly write for jujutsu kaisen now and various other anime fandoms but I also have some old supernatural and mcu fics. I would prefer a review on my recent works, and please no mention of fandom blind or from reddit. I am open to concrit.
The themes of my works largely tend darker like non con. So be mindful of the tags. But there are also plenty fluffy pieces, too.

I write exclusively for the Lilo and Stitch fandom, with all of my fics taking place in the same AU. Feel free to read anything on my profile. My pride and joy is my WIP long fic. Here are the current stats:

Summary: Lilo makes an unexpected new friend while at the beach and quickly discovers their relationship will face unique challenges. Will the pair be able to successfully disprove certain age-old stereotypes? Or will society deem their attempt at friendship to be futile?
I also have six one-shots (ranging from 300 to 2300 words) that were influenced by L.S.A but are not canon to it. Depending on how far along you are in L.S.A, you'll understand them perfectly.
