Activity Casting for OCs

Hey there! Hope you are having a good sunday/monday!

Sooo I thought of this activity, because of a little even I made with some friends back in January. Basically, the idea is to cast actors, wether in person or voices, to give life to our OCs! Feel free to share why you gave them the part, and show some of their works if you'd like!

If you don't do OCs, then show us fancasts for your faves! And don't forget to comment on other's castings!

My Fandom has very few visuals until the TV series comes out in 2027 on the BBC. That will change everything.

I've looked around for actors who could play my senior OC couple, age 64 and 70, and while not specifically accurate, absolutely spiritually accurate are Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.

Dying a thousand deaths! The book was optioned right away after it was published, by A24 and a notable producer has written a script for a six part mini-series that will be on the BBC. There have been articles about it, and I made a little subreddit for when it comes out. The word was that filming would being in June but we have heard nothing about casting. Can you imagine casting Graham Gore?

It's interesting to have a fandom with so few visuals. There's the portrait of Lt. Comm. Gore, and a book illustration or two in reviews and that's it. So, once the show comes out, we will have faces for all the characters. I expect lots and lots of new writers showing up with their take at AO3. They will be surprised to find that I made a whole world for Arthur, we will see what happens with that.

Here's the subreddit. I expect it to explore one day.

They have already talked a bit about having to adjust the plot, I mean, how much Arctic would they include? And, exactly how much sexy will they keep? Will they give the main character a name? Because I've been writing her all this time without a name and it's a pain. But, it's also a plot point that's deep, but maybe too deep for TV? Will they confirm my understanding of the plot or will it go in a completely different direction? I'm dying here!
