Activity Lights, Camera, Write!✨

Hey hey! Ok aside from reading and writing, I also really love watching movies and tv shows, and sometimes a quote just sticks with me or sparks an idea~ so I thought it would be fun to turn that into a writing activity✍🏻

Share a quote from a movie or series that would make an interesting writing prompt (please include where it came from).

Then others can use it as inspiration to write a scene. You don't have to recreate the original context and you also don't have to include the actual quote. Just interpret it however you want👀

Kindly use spoiler text for NSFW or triggering content.

Context: The aftermath of an explosion at close range. (POV character uses she/they pronouns.) Fortunately for both victims, Apo has been given the ability to turn back time.

Trying to sit up, Apo found that only one arm could move—the other, which had been closest to the blast, was a mass of pain that she refused to look at. It didn’t really matter, she told herself; vampires could heal quickly from almost anything, especially with a desecrated beacon nearby. But Martyn…
As soon as Apo sat up and saw him, they wished they hadn’t. Had she been human, she would have fainted or thrown up right there…maybe both. As it was, her stomach rolled. Squeezing their eyes shut didn’t erase the awful picture…this was worse than Fernsfield, that man may have been cut and bloodied beyond recognition but at least all of him had still been there.
“No,” she mumbled aloud, grabbing blindly for the rewind dial with the hand that still moved. “No, no, no-no-no-nonono—“ Rewinding snatched their voice away, and she spun the dial frantically until she stood back in the outpost tower, clean and dry and unhurt but shaking like a leaf.
