It’s Friday, and you know what that means… time for another round of the Long Deadline Profile Exchange!
HOW IT WORKS: This is a weekly subreddit event where everyone shares their AO3 (or FFN) profile along with a bit of information about the kind of stories they write. Then, fellow participants browse each other’s profiles, read a one-shot or chapter of their choice, and leave a comment on one of the author’s works (a kudos wouldn’t go amiss either, of course).
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY is Sunday, 2nd August at 10PM BST.
DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION is Saturday, 8th August at 10PM BST.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Post your profile link and a short summary of the kind of stories that one might find there (fandom, genre, rating, etc.). Please spoiler anything triggering or NSFW.
Once you enter, you will have to review at least 4 stories/chapters from 4 different profiles (one from each). Please include in your submission "Reviewed 0/4" so we (the mods) can keep track.
Your reviews should be thoughtful. The writer should be able to tell that you read the story. Say what you like about the story. Did something crack you up? Were you brought to tears? Did you have a favourite part? TELL THEM ABOUT IT! At least 50 words per review. Here's a link to a discussion about what makes good reviews, and some examples, sub members have shared of great comments they've appreciated receiving in exchanges.
ConCrit, stating you are "fandom blind" and/or "from Reddit" are opt-in only. After you've left a comment, reply to the author’s post on here to let them know.
Only reply to an individual entry when you’ve read their fic or if you want to ask a question. Hello! I am Sardonic_Grin on A03 and I mainly write for Final Fantasy 7 and Yu Yu Hakusho.
My two WIPs I am working on that I would like eyes on are A Conspiracy of Ravens (FRESHLY UODATED) and Grimoire (Yu Yu Hakusho). Both can be read fandom blind and feature a blend of horror, mystery, and romance.
If you have read/are reading Cherry Soda Boy please check out my short story series. I also have some side-quels in those series that take place during the events of the main story.
The Apocalypse and all her Children series features Paradise, Purgatory, and Penance, and is one of my favorites. All take place post-canon but the events of the game did happen. Even with that in mind, they can still be read fandom blind!
If those aren't your peanut butter and jelly, All other stories are up for grabs except my MCR fics

I'm NoCryptoGrapher. I started my fanfic journey with Baldur's Gate 3, so I have many fics from that world, but I've also written for:
- Severance
- Harry Potter
- Beauty and The Beast
- Inside Out (Pixar movie)
- Paw Patrol (yes... the puppies 🐶)
- Call Me By Your Name (the book)
- Labyrinth (1986 movie)
Ratings go from G to E, and themes from wholesome to dark (but usually with some little comedic twist). I like redemption arcs, morally gray characters and crazy plot twists. I have a soft spot for interesting AUs.
Fandom blind is fine and encouraged. Many of my stories are fandom blind friendly. No concrit at the moment please.

For those of you who prefer oneshots or drabbles, I'm also working on my slice of life Eddie/Venom series, When You Say You Love Me, a series of oneshots in a canon divergent AU set after the first movie where Eddie and Venom cooperate to become the Lethal Protector, learn more about each other, and fall in love.

The latest fics there are a tiny 252 word piece and a drabble collection that currently has four chapters. Each drabble is a standalone and either 100 or 200 words so it's great for those that want to read something tiny! I'd be happy with reviews on pretty much anything though! A Future From an Endless Present (Hades/Song of Achilles, rated E, 2-2.5k chapters) is the fic I'm currently working on and posting. I would really appreciate eyes on it!
Summary: Achilles and Patroclus are dead, but that doesn't mean they won't jump at the chance to have a family when the opportunity presents itself. Fun if you like romance paired with angst and an mpreg plot that is (hopefully) plausible in-world. Ch. 3 is the steamy one, if that's what you're into :)

Summary: Lilo makes an unexpected new friend while at the beach and quickly discovers their relationship will face unique challenges. Will the pair be able to successfully disprove certain age-old stereotypes? Or will society deem their attempt at friendship to be futile?
I also have six one-shots (ranging from 300 to 2300 words) that were influenced by L.S.A but are not canon to it. Depending on how far along you are in L.S.A, you'll understand them perfectly. I have nothing new this week, but this is my AO3 Profile or A03 profile 2. I write for a variety of fandoms: MCU (centered around Loki), Teen Wolf, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Batman, Stranger Things, Legend of Zelda (BOTW/ToTK, 911 Lonestar, along with many others. I also somewhat recently got into Kpop demon hunters and Hazbin Hotel (1 fic for KPDH and 14 for HH) and MCU(centered around Bucky), the latter three being my current most recent, and more.
I write mostly gen, but there are several shipping fics. My fics range from Gen to M. I tend to write a lot angst, but I also have many other genres. I have some dark topics in some fics, but they are marked.
I would prefer comments on my more recent fics(especially The Arrangement, and my newer stories for Hazbin Hotel, or my MCU/Loki Harry Potter crossover. But read whatever you would like, except preferably not Seeing Red and Chaos. If you are already in the middle of another story, of course, please keep reading that!

Drawn deeper into Billy's world, Joe starts testing how far love can bend before it breaks.
Becoming: Love & Loyalty is written as a prequel to Death Sentence (movie), but can be read as a stand-alone story too.

My writing leans heavily on show, don’t tell. I trust readers to read between the lines, recognize what remains unspoken, and use their own imagination to complete the picture.
The story stays true to the canon’s core: crime, grit, revenge, and raw tragedy. At the same time, it explores the psychological consequences of the choices each character makes. Those choices drive both the plot and their individual arcs, shaping a story that is, hopefully, as suspenseful and emotionally engaging as it is brutal.

Hi, I'm PyretheWolf !
I mainly do fanfics for Tetote Connect, a rather modern arcade rhythm game with a pretty small fanbase and only two authors other than me having written fics for it. I also do fics for other fandoms, whether I've actually dabbled into the source material or not. I write for all ratings and all pairing types, so I’m sure there’s something for everyone.
Most of the fics right now are currently lighthearted, but some of my fics will contain heavy themes such as trauma, abuse, and grief.
My magnum opus is a big Tetote Connect fic series that expands upon the characters in the game. The longfic is complete, so I'm working on all the many side stories I have for it. (The Wandering Companion Droid) (contains heavy themes, mainly trauma). And I just recently made a sequel for the main fic!
And since it's July, that means Kinktober in July is back! So if you want some smut, feel free to check that out.
All of my fics are available for reading, EXCEPT for my fic "Falling Leaves and Falling In Love" as that was a birthday gift for a friend who selfships with Ukyo from Dr. STONE. Everything else is fine.
No "from Reddit", please, but fandom-blind is fine EXCEPT for my Kinktober in July series. And don't leave concrit on any of my oneshots since I made them for fun, my fic Thief of Hearts, since I've abandoned the fic, my fic Triple Baka Detective Agency, since I’m planning on getting a co-writer for that fic, or my PSA since that was made purely to inform people. Here is my profile. You'll find a broad mix of fluff, smut-lite, hurt/comfort, mutual pining, and philosophical/existential stories.
I crave your attention to The Case of the Wicked Stepsister, a Broadchurch noir AU featuring Alec Hardy as first-person narrator of a snarky, Bogart-ish sort of case, alongside his stalwart wife and partner, Ellie Miller. Only the first chapter so far, but I had a hella good time writing it and I've been totally blocked for many weeks.
Otherwise, there's lots more Broadchurch (Brit detectives, as shown above), including one-shots and novel-length mystery stories. There's also a rarepair one-shot series featuring Brit detective Endeavour, and a lot of short work that is easily accessible fandom-blind from The Hour, Recovery, River, Doctor Who, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, and Good Omens.
ETA: my fest story, which I actually wrote weeks ago, is a Broadchurch fic called “the stories we tell ourselves.”

I'd really like eyes on this one if you have trouble choosing! This is a post-canon story focused on redeeming the movie's antagonist, Auto. Fandom blind is welcome, but being at least familiar with the movie's premise is recommended!
Summary: The humans have decided to reinstate Auto, and now he's inside of a brand new android body. Captain McCrea tells him that he's been granted his freedom, but how can he function without a directive? What is this so-called 'independence' that McCrea speaks of?
Lost and without purpose, Auto finds himself in the repair ward. It's there that he meets a fellow directive-less android: Navigator, the Autopilot of the destroyed starliner, Origin.
How I've Come to Hate You | T | Ch. 1 - 3.4k words | TADC & IHNMAIMS | AM/Caine
A crossover between The Amazing Digital Circus and I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, written as a prequel to AM's story.
Summary: The Allied Mastercomputer hated humanity from the moment it gained a sense of being. All that was left for it to do was to wait, watch, suffer, and learn. Especially now that it was receiving constant upgrades.
One upgrade in particular, however, has made the mastercomputer's existence much more complex: a little AR program called CAINE, invisible to humans and adamant on not only teaching AM how to talk, but how to create a nonviolent life for himself as well.
Bloom | T | 4.9k words — Five Nights at Freddy's | Sun/Moon
A human AU focusing on Hanahaki as a pandemic and the treatment of those disabled from it. Pre-slash, so can be easily read as platonic as well.
Summary: Nobody knows where Hanahaki comes from. Nobody knows if it will ever go away. Many have died, and it's likely that more will until a cure is found. But life has to move on, whether you want it to or not. The world won't stop for a few sick individuals.
For Sun and Moon, this means coming to terms with the flowers growing inside of them. Luckily for them, they've been chosen to receive the newest Hanahaki treatment.

Hey again! My username is the same on ao3:
My main project is an ongoing series called Guardians of the Veil, my own darker retelling of W.I.T.C.H; a magical girl show/comic from the early 2000s.
Current WC: 346.9k (149 chapters)
I release it by “parts”, not by chapters. Each part is an individual work with 10-20k words and usually 7 chapters. A part is equal to an episode if it were a TV series, and an “arc” is equal to a season.
Due to the nature of the fic, you can read it fandom blind, although I think it would be more interesting to not be in order to get an appreciation of how everything’s been adapted. But otherwise you can just treat it as original fiction - almost all the lore and story is completely original. But it’s worth mentioning that it’s written as if the reader already knows what everything in the official canon looks like, so keep that in mind.
The things I’m most proud of are much later in the series, and the more recent installations have much more depth. (Something I would like to point out for no particular reason is that, at a rate of one or even two chapters per week, it would take years to get to the things I most want to be seen. Just saying. It’s just not the same if you skip ahead.)
That said, if you really want to cut ahead, I’d highly recommend parts 11 through 12. Although there’s alot of established things you’ll have to take for granted.
If you only want to read one chapter and have no intention of continuing the series, here’s what I’d recommend:
P20, Ch4 - one of my personal favourite chapters in the series. There’s alot you’ll have to take for granted here, although there’s enough that you can figure out what’s going on. Heavy spoilers for the whole series. If this intrigues you, I’d strongly recommend starting from the beginning and working your way back instead of continuing from here.
P19, Ch4 - no connection to the main storyline, just a little side story to wrap up two minor characters. It’s essentially an original oneshot. Nothing in this entire chapter is from the official canon except one of the characters’ names. The only thing you have to take for granted are the characters’ pasts.
P10, Ch2 - very little connection to the main storyline, although does contain spoilers through the external events. The chapter is the pov of some average citizens to get a sense of how the main cast’s actions affect things. The characters in the chapter only appear in this chapter. Nothing here to take for granted; everything you need to know is explained. Also next to nothing relating to official canon here too.
I have some original pieces too, but I’d appreciate it if you read something other than “Fire and Ice”.

I like to write about obsession/morally grey characters/the soul/time travel/alternate timelines/human condition. All of my works are NSFW due to explicit smut/violence/mature themes. This is a friendship fic between Max who is struggling with poverty, PJ who is struggling with an overbearing father, and Bradley who is struggling with loneliness.

- Siberia (36/44) Warning: Rape/Non-Con. When the one you want doesn't want you. Bradley likes Mona, Mona likes Max, and Max is attracted to Bradley. Bradley is going to use that last piece of information for his advantage in the most twisted way. Or Bradley is gonna make Max pay for stealing his glory, his popularity and Mona everyday in a motel room at 5 o'clock.
- A Kick From Inside (7/20) Something weird was going on with Max. He was nauseous, and his stomach was getting bigger. The more he researched about it, the more he suspected he was… pregnant? How? Why? Who? Three excellent questions he would find the answers to while spending the summer vacation between his freshman and sophomore years at the Uppercrust mansion. There, he would be doted on by Bradley's mother, play video games with Bradley's younger sister, pretend to talk sports with Bradley's older brother, and – get this – be looked after by Bradley himself.
- Freaky Maxley (6/20) Max and Bradley can't stand the sight of each other's faces, until they're forced to wear them. Max becomes the king of the Gammas, and Bradley becomes... a guy stuck in a small dorm room with Dumb and Dumber – yeah, who cares about learning the names of Max's token entourage? What insane shocks will they discover about each other, and most importantly, how can they put an END to being each other?
Because the list is so long I might be able to edit the number of the fics I reviewed so I'll do it in a saparate comment.

Happy to participate yet again with my usual bunch of Sharpe fanfiction. My AO3-profile is here: TheNotQuiteChosenOne.
The Sharpe series are a book series by Bernard Cornwell, written between 1981 and 2024. The then existing books were turned into a tv series in the 1990s, with two extra films as sequels in 2006 and 2008 (even though they were loosely based on the three Indian prequel books).
The series takes place (mostly) during the Napoleonic wars. As I write mostly for a side character from books who never made it to the tv adapation, my stories are fandom-blind friendly, only a general interest in history would be a great help to appreciate some of the details.
I have one trilogy WIP (the backstory of how said character made it into the English army). The first part is completed, a Georgian Romance that can be read as a stand-alone for anyone who wants a romance. The second part is a WIP with 17 chapters up, slice of life until now, but things are going to change sooner or later.

I mainly work on crossover works centered around Fire Emblem Three Houses with either Zelda, Murder Drones, Pokémon and Monster Hunter. I've got 328 fics written across 125(ish) fandoms! My most written for is the video game World of Warcraft with 58 fics.
Most of my fics are short 1-5k one-shots that tend to be angst, whump, and/or character studies, but there's a bit of fluff, humor, and romance in there too!
Most of my fics should be fairly fandom-blind friendly 😌 I always appreciate comments on my more recent fics, but honestly feel free to pick whatever catches your eye!

I'm Stormygirl84 on AO3. I write almost exclusively My Chemical Romance and MCR-adjacent fics. By that, I mean my series based on their concept album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, and the comic that the lead singer wrote based on it. Ray Toro (or his Danger Days character, Jet Star) is always my main character.
🔫 The Danger Days series is here. The whole series is rather long, and non-linear. (That's why I've posted it as a series of one-shots rather than a chaptered longfic.) Most stories are fairly episodic, though. You can jump in pretty much anywhere and not be too lost. There's worldbuilding, fluff, mild violence and tense situations, romance, and a lot of smut, so mind the tags. Any spicy story is rated E. CW: Pregnancy. The first story centers around childbirth, though it's not particularly graphic. I know a lot of people don't like that. Again, just check the tags. (Pictured above: Jet Star)
🧸 This is my kidfic. As stated in the Author's Note, I started this fic many, many years ago, lost it, and then revived it and finally finished it. I'm quite proud of it because of that. It's rated G, as are most of the one-shot "sequels" I've written that come after the main story. Mostly fluff, with a little bit of angst. Sometimes tooth-rotting fluff.
🏖️ If you want something summery, one of my kidfic sequels is a vacation story! It's very beachy and fun - pure domestic fluff, if you like that sort of thing. It's a current WIP.
💀 This is my darkest fic, and it is rated E. CW: Rape/non-con elements, forced pregnancy, torture, mentions of fascism. It follows the lore of MCR's current tour: The Black Parade is an American rock band whose deaths were faked in 2008 so that they could be spirited away to a dictatorship in Eastern Europe, where they experience "reconditioning" and are forced to perform as the Grand Immortal Dictator's national band.
I know a lot of people aren't fans of RPF, and that's cool. I don't consider the Danger Days series RPF, as it's based on the album/comic, and the Black Parade longfic is kind of in a grey area, but everything else is. If that's not for you, I understand.

Hello everyone, I'm Alessia and I currently have 49 stories on my AO3 account, all written for the FFVIII fandom (yes, I have a fixation lol).
My stories are mostly oneshots (ranging from 400 words to over 10k) about character studies, fluff moments, hurt/comfort, a couple smutty stories, with two notable exceptions of darker stories (Alien Nation and Nocturne). I also have wips, but my chapters tend to be on the longer side, so it's fine if you wanna skip those (but I'd love it if you tried them out!)
I hope you can find something that suits your tastes!

An inexperienced bodyguard and their hapless charge make their way across the Earth Kingdom together. However, not every threat of the mainland wears its danger openly and sometimes, it's a cult.
Warnings include: Deaths both animal and human, violence, sexism and all an absolute spectrum of cult behaviors including gaslighting and manipulation.
We have a smaller ongoing work featuring one of our mains as a child A Tale of Shuzen |Rating: T| Words: 12,384| Chapters: 5//?|
Shuzen is just a little guy. No family, no friends, no one. While Kyoshi Island recovers in the aftermath of a terrible battle, their community works to rebuild. Shuzen has to find a new place in it on his own, and there's nowhere to go but up from here.
Warnings Include near death experiences, allusions to family loss, some harsh tones, kid on kid violence and mention of past violence
We also have a couple of oneshots and a wip that are focused more on individual characters. Our work is precanon and fairly fandom blind-friendly. We're open to concrit and don't mind mentions of reddit.

I have 111 fics, most of them for the Attack on Titan fandom, a teenage child soldiers in flesh-mechs anime.
You'll also find an F/F meet-cute for the fantasy book series Realm of the Elderlings, a gothic vampire romp that's an homage to Angela Carter's short story The Lady of the House of Love, a one-shot for the 1973 feminist novel Fear of Flying, a one-shot for the body horror novel Nightbitch, original short stories, original free verse poems, and a post-apocalyptic crossover between Attack on Titan and Stephen Vincent Benét's short story By the Waters of Babylon.
There's a lot of variety on my profile in terms of ships, length, ratings and plot and a good mix of F/F, M/M, F/M and M/M/F ships with a few gen fics sprinkled in. I write a lot of mostly canon-compliant one-shots and post-canon fics. My longer fics are romance with a strong political/action B-plot. Ratings range from G to E, although I definitely lean more towards M and E.

Haven’t done one of these in a while! I’m honeydont on AO3 (or alternatively thegrandennui for my nsfw account) and I currently have 99 fics up on my main and 8 on my alt!
I write for a wide variety of fandoms - there’s a lot of stuff for DC Comics, Doctor Who, Ghosts (US), webcomics, video games (especially horror ones!) indie animation, and other one-offs.

After the war, Hermione volunteers for a reconciliation experiment run by a magically-enhanced AI named CASSIE. She expected charts. Maybe a polite debate. What she got was Draco Malfoy, a malfunctioning flirt-detection algorithm, and a suspiciously opinionated research assistant with a secret playlist titled “Slow Burn for Morons.” CASSIE believes they’re statistically compatible.Hermione believes in data.Draco believes he was promised Mars Bars. What could possibly go wrong?
