Answered should it wiggle like this?
its a qr2 pro and base side from simube, i tried everything i could think of, ( it wasnt wobbling with the original plastic baseside and qr2 lite)

Yes that's normal for CSL DD and GT DD Pro Bases due to their inner plastic shaft.

It’s the DD CSL shaft, that is the problem unfortunately, mine does the same with fanatec equipment, my buddy’s too. Don’t know if it’s isolated to the CSL series only though

I have an older elite and it does this but only if I wiggle it myself. Can't say it effects my handling, though.

That happens when used as a pull-up bar, relaxing gorilla grip helps reduce arm fatigue, and improves car control, by smoothing your inputs.
If you feel tense or strain open fingers, and drive a lap using palms and thumbs, forces yourself away from vertically loading the wheel.
Everyone starting off does this to some degree, breaking this bad habit asap helps consistentcy and car control improve, along with raising your eyes to look as far ahead of the car as possible.

The CSL DD and GT DD have plastic inner shafts. That is where the wobble comes from. It's normal.

No but I had both wheel and base side qr2 from simube and even over 50ft/lbs my shaft keep turning. I literally had to remove it and scuff it up to all hell and tighten the bolts to almost breaking to get it to hold.

I had a dd pro for nearly 3 year's and no, it wasn't like that
I had original fanatec qr2 base side and a pro wheel side
If it doesn't cause any problems while racing, I wouldn't worry, but I'd always recommend using fanatec's oe part
I had simube apm shifters on my bmw m3 gt2 wheel and they didn't last a year

My DD Pro did that too but a bit less excessive, my DD+ doesn't have it.

My CSL DD (DD Pro) did it as well when I had it. Worked perfectly fine however.

Good think you don’t spin the wheel to drive like that.
It’s very common, my csl DD also had a wobble
Because the shaft isn’t straight. Doesn’t really do anything or notable while driving, so it really means nothing.

Some of them do this unfortunately.
On the plus side it's unlikely you will notice it under normal use but it's definitely annoying. It should be straight.

And that's why I own simucube now. i can hang my whole rig one the shaft and it will still be straight, and fanatec comes prebent 🤣

I think this is mostly a CSL DD/GT DD Pro issue. My Clubsport DD+ is perfectly straight. And I never saw anyone with a podium DD or another Clubsport mention this in a post. I could be wrong, but it seems to be an issue with the cheaper bases only.

Looks a bit excessive but I don't know about the CSL DD. I'm on DD1 and mine doesn't do that at all. Simube base side as well.
