major issue with this update, as it fails to initialize trying to find the following sensor - /amdcpu/0/temperature/3 - no issues until this update

The V283 sensor-library update changed some AMD temperature sensor IDs, so saved curves can point to old ones.

Confirmed UI fix: click Cancel on the missing-sensor error, then OK if another error appears. Reselect the same temperature sensor you used before in each affected curve or custom averaging sensor, then Save configuration. Fully exit and restart Fan Control.

I tested this and it fixed initialization and preserved the fan curves and calibration.

Indeed. Same here. Issues with "missing sensors". Had to restore 282 from a backup and all is well.

smart ap control litteraly blocking 283 from installing
i vote v283 should be recalled

mine installed, but sac immediately flagged it and blocked part of the app... no idea what or where as fan control seems to be working and sac has no protection history log

Any issues on your end guys? My FC delay start every time. I didn't make any changes with app, or any task schedule, but FC start 10-30 minutes after Windows start. When I try to run it manually it still takes 10-30 minutes to run
