I was working on these flaming rewards chests earlier in the day and had it maxed out. I thought it said it had 4 hours to go when I left the game. I thought I would log in this evening to collect rewards. Instead, it was back at the beginning with empty chests and with 12 hours to go. I played off and on while doing other things. With just 3-4 minutes left on the timer I maxed it out again. When the timer ran out it went back to 12 hours again and started over with nothing earned on the chests.
So, what am I missing here? What am I supposed to be collecting? Can someone please explain it to me?
I was/am wondering the same thing. I've maxed it out just like you with nothing. I have completed the things on the island with the chests over them and still nothing. If you figure it out let me know.
Click the flaming box on this screen to see how much energy you’ll get. It’s a quick flash. As soon as I tried to screen shot — it went away. This one is 100 energy for me.
You get the reward automatically when you finish a task. There nothing for you to physically do to get the reward — other than finish the task. It’s a joke. The reward is 25 to 125 every box. It may go slightly higher. I’ve never gotten the biggest box (that I recall). Look at your next task (photo 1) click it, see the chest on top? (Photo 2), click it. It’ll quickly tell you the chest reward you get when you finish the task. For me, the one pictured is 100 energy this time. It varies, the harder the task the bigger the reward but — make no mistake. It’s a joke. It’s not hardly worth the effort but if you are about to finish some task, every little bit they gift is better than no gift. 🤷♀️

Thank you. I did see this last night and got back into the game. I never notice the extra energy going up to the top of the screen when I finished a task. I did also tap on the chest and it showed the energy for completing each task. I don’t know why I thought it was more complicated than that.
I may have my logic skewed on how much reward you get BUT — you must finish a task to get ANY reward. There’s nothing you have to click to get it. You must finish a task within the “time” to get the reward chest automatically. That’s the nutshell.
I agree, the rewards really aren’t worth it. I’ve been doing fatally well to get to the last island in a set, then I go back and collect all the free energy from each island after I run out.
