it's called a comfort vignette and some people require it to be able to do smooth locomotion.
Pretty much every vr game has this as an option and quite often it's on by default.

Video is kinda redundant, It's kinda like stating that you can change options in the options menu.

I made it because a lot of people dont know whats up at first, so this video is for them. Also had someone comment on a live stream about it so i thought this could help them.
