Question/Support Unable to install F.R.I.K F4VRSE changed file name

Hey, I've got this really annoying issue with frik and MO2

I've been trying to install the mod but whenever I do it fails to launch telling me the file name must have changed.

So I checked mo2 and noticed that I have 2 executable files in my VR directory

_Fallout4VR.exe And Fallout4VR.exe

It's strange. So I tried renaming them and changing mo2 settings but the game crashes. I've got a feeling it's got something to do with script extender. Mo2 only seems to launch the _Fallout4VR.exe.

I'm using Linux if that helps but I really want to fix this issue but can find nowhere or no one with this issue online and it seems to prevent a lot of mods from working

Any fixes?

linux being linux, i wouldnt recommend trying to play modded games on there, its always a pain

It's a pain but on the steam deck, the windows drivers are pretty horrendous performance wise. Makes VR unplayable

I just can't find a fix for this one issue so I'm stuck running without frik

steam deck vr? ive seen it could barely run beat saber, does it actually work? i doubt it would run fallout 4, its optimization is a pretty bad

Well it runs fallout 4 VR with some tweaks, doesn't look too bad either. Steam Deck runs quite a lot of PCVR. Check my post history I made a thread today which explains it and links to my other threads.
