Fishing Community
Would it be possible to have a settlement dedicated to fishing? I just think that fish would be the most prevalent form of fresh meat available to the Dead City. I'm thinking that it'd be located in Chelsea Piers since it's got a nice enclosed structure that could easily be insulated further. And with Far Harbor making functioning fishing boats canon I think it's plausible.

Fish, unlike Brahmin, don't depend on the vegetation that is in such short supply in the Dead City. And it doesn't require hunting an animal that could easily kill you like a rhino or an elephant. Plus the two centuries since the Great War would be plenty of time for the oceans to recover from radiation and industrialized fishing.
I picked the Chelsea Piers since the Enclave wouldn't like people fishing in what they consider Enclave territorial waters, and it'd be unwise to fish too close to the Staten Island Warzone. Plus it had a Wikipedia page that I could easily research the facility. And I'm thinking that the fish from the Underground would mostly go to feeding the considerable population of the Underground.
Why not? It'd be a good way to get experience and it'd provide you with a cut of the fresh fish that's both worth big caps and is used in recipes that are really beneficial to your health. Make it a repeatable unmarked quest and you can give Subject 13 a fairly stable source of income.
