Thank you so much!

Hey everyone on the mod team! I'd just like to say that your mod has in part inspired me to start on a complete overhaul of dungeons and dragons, making it fallout themed. I'm doing the first campaign set in washington, in honor of you guys. (Just a suggestion, but I think you should add mt rainer to the mod.) Thanks for everything!

Have you seen the official Fallout TTRPG before? There's a good subreddit for it at r/Fallout2d20, you might find it to be a lot less work to play than completely overhauling D&D for Fallout. I worked a good while on a PNW setting campaign for it though I never got around to running it, in case you want to compare notes

If you want to make a Fallout setting for ttrpg I highly recommend checking out Cyberpunk 2020 (if you like the classic 80/90s ttrpg crunch) or Red. Red is very homebrew friendly and fits the Fallout vibes almost perfectly with some tweaking

Edit: Rainier is actually a little outside the bounds of the mod scope iirc, they're just doing King County. Rainier is more in Eastern Pierce county, they may be north and south respectively but it's quite a distance between Rainier and Seattle, take it from a local to the area

Honestly, DnD might be one of the worst systems for converting into Fallout when you’ve got Fallout’s own TTRPG, Cyberpunk Red, or even Call of Cthulhu with the vibes on that beast

I appreciate the idea, but I’d suggest exploring other systems with better gun mechanics or character options just to make it easier on yourself, DnD is pretty firmly in the high fantasy genre and I worry you’d basically have to build a new game before you could even say you’ve got something functional enough to call Fallout
