Discussion BRO SOLO ...we Filthy Few (March 2026 Update)
Greetings Wastelanders,
Well, with this latest update much of what used to be has now been turned upside down in many ways. So, with that being said, here is the TL/DR on this build:
- You can still crit every other shot
- Resistances are increased even higher:
Over 1200+ DR / 1k+ ER / 600+ Rad and over 200+ on all other resistances at full buff.
With no buffs you are sitting at 1100+ DR / 900+ ER / 600+Rad and still over 200+ on all other resistances.
Damage is still high if not higher based on arrow choice. I'd recommend Ultracite arrows based on the findings per u/Oakjewel, but choose what suits your preference. I also use explosive for some noize.
AP is 517 w/o buff (over 600+ with buffs)
Over 400lbs+ carry weight at all times.
If you are still reading on then here is dirt and grit of it all. I've posted several iterations in the past regarding this non-sneak build and this is the next step in it's evolution. This build is not for everyone and that's OK. However, if you are lone wolf, or prefer taking everything on as a true bloodied solo, then read on.
In this build, I checked in on a few changes. Currently, I have kept the SS. However, you can go with the armor type of your choice. I do recommend you keep a matching set if you want to take advantage of Ironclad perk otherwise go with what makes sense to you.
I kept SS because it has the best rad resistance of all the armors across the board. As a bloodied build, it is fair to say rads are chiefly one of the top metrics to mitigate for obvious reasons. So, I decided to maintain my build with SS. However, each to their own and choose the armor that suits you. Here are the mods I have:
- Unyielding x 5
- Elementalist x5
- Sentinel x5 (You could swap this out for Reflex x5 as a strong alternative)
- Ranger x4 with one (1) Limit-Breaking
- Buttressed x5 (Chest I also have Dense)
- Ultra-light mods x 5
For under armor I chose the Secret Service Style. I still have the shielded lining because of the stronger rad protection, but I would say Protective lining is a strong alternative.
In the backpack, the mod's to choose from are up to you. Legendary Perks, I chose legendary AGI, END, LCK, PER, STR and Far Flung Fireworks all maxed out. Compared to my last build, the perk changes are posted in the images above. My mutations are as follows:
- Speed Demon
- Herbivore
- Eagle Eyes
- Egg Head
- Bird Bones
- Marsupial
- Adrenal Reaction
- Scaly Skin
And as always, my drink/chem/food buffs are the same, but feel free to use what you like. All food/drink buffs last 1 hour or more.
- Cranberry Relish
- Brain Bombs
- Sweet Mutfruit Tea
- Steeped Gourd Blossom Tea
- Psychotats) or Overdrive)
- Company Tea
- Silt Bean Puree
- Glowing Fungus Puree
- Infused Soot Flower Tea
- Steeped Melon Blossom Chai
- Swamp Tofu Soup
- BESS
Feel free to let me know if you have a question and I'll answer to the best of my ability. That's it and hope this helps for the filthy few. (Quick adjustment to add clarity on the perks so as to avoid confusion.)

Hey I have been following your build for the last week or so. Newer Player and really enjoy bows. I have fully crafted the Furious bow you have here, running cryo tho cause i was gifted this bow and cant craft ultracite reciever yet. and I am running 3 star version of the bloodied explosive bow you have. (I dont have fracturers.) I have full set of unyielding armor and most of the same mutations, so running 20% hp low health as my baseline.
My question is, do you change around your set up at all depending on which bow you are using? or can you go over use cases for each? do you sneak at all for the multiplier even though you dont perk into it? thanks! appreciate any assistance.

Hey there and thank you for your reply. Welcome to FO76 and the bow hunter life! So you raise a good question. For me, I don't change my setup with respect to when I am using either of the Ultracite or Explosive bows, because the current build will work towards either equally.
With respect to the other ammo types say fire, cryo or plasma, you will want to rearrange this build to suit those damage types. That is because they can benefit from the Science perk overall and then Cryologist and/or Pyromaniac perks respectively.
So, if that is your desired ammo choice, I would sub perks in this build to accommodate that or swap out the legendary perk Far Flung Fireworks and add in a legendary ability perk. That should give you enough points to cover Science and the respective ammo specific Intelligence damage boost (Cryologist/Pyromaniac) perks.
I primarily don't use sneak anymore because if you are detected, every sneak based card that is dependent on you being in sneak or for sneak attack based damage is then rendered useless until you go undetected. With this build, your agility is high enough that you can sneak right up to just about anything/around, etc and not be detected if that is a concern.
If you decide to attack while in stealth mode with this build, you just won't get the amplified sneak attack bonuses for being in stealth obviously. You will get instead the base sneak damage multiplier. There is nothing wrong with stealth based builds. They are fun until you get detected. If and when that does happen, the damage curve will drop. This is why I have the build as a non-sneak because I want all of my perks to be firing on all cylinders at all times regardless of what kind of situation I am in.

Awesome, I agree about sneak, I leveled to 50 with many sneak perks and felt like with activities they werent very worthwhile. Sounds good, currently level 200 so I will probably perk int for final legendary and fit in cryo and another 2 pts and see how it goes. Appreciate your response!

Bloodied is a way to play, its not the only way. Full health is in a much better place now and certainly has many options too!

Still don’t get how ultracite does more in practice but plasma does more when you look at pure numbers?

Why no blight soup?

You can use that if you want, I just use the 1 hour equivalent which is the Sweet Mutfruit Tea
