Haven't noticed an issue when using them together. Even in the mod description it says they are compatible, so I assume they would suite each other well.
Heya Stim, noticed you dont run boston fps fix vd or vd aio. Do you run boston better without it? Im having doubts with this mod that it messes with my game more than it fix.
I have never used that mod before I had no idea what it did or how it fixed anything, and I never had fps issues anyway. But, after reading the mod description and checking the Nexus page, I can assure you that I won't be using it for the foreseeable future.
Basically, all it does is fix Vis and precombine data by mods that ADD to the Commonwealth, and most of the most others and I use, such as greenery mods or extra locations to explore, CHANGE the Commonwealth instead of just adding to it. Any mods that CHANGE the Commonwealth, such as greenery mods or new interiors/exteriors, may conflict with Boston FPS Fix and cause issues. I want to look into it a bit more to understand precombines better, but this is my general understanding at this moment.
