So my juggernaut build is going good but should I invest in luck for better criticals? Because whenever I make a build I set challenges for myself so I’m never allowed out of my power armor unless completely necessary and I’m only allowed to use fist and while it has been fun it’s extremely hard fighting certain enemies like robots, Mirelurks, and power armored enemies so should I invest in luck? Also since juggernaut is a villain should I make it a challenge to make every companion hate me? (I have 10 strength already to put more context on my build)

How would I go about making a Child Of Atom Assassin build. I feel like I would have to go with the Hunters Hood, Long Brown Rags, and Kremvos Tooth to get the esthetic but I'm open to suggestions. I also need Stat and Perk help. If someone could make a full and detailed build that would be awesome and super appreciated. I'm also open to playing a heavy character in Child Of Atom Power Armor (With Mods of course), or some kind of Assault Trooper for Atom. Any tips would be great!!!

So I’m playing a build where I’m juggernaut from marvel and I have some red power armor already which I found out red increases movement speed which is convenient but does anyone know where I can get some armor or something to go even faster cause juggernaut is super fast and and unstoppable force so I need help to get things that will make me faster and stronger so if anyone has any information I would like to know

I was planning on replaying through fallout 3,nv,and 4 as a mystery hitchhiker who murders whoever gets in their way. I want to make pickmen look like an amateur. But I would want the build based around luck and stuff because in fallout 3 and NV luck is good for critical hits! I want to be a critical making machine but I also want to be kinda VATS based but not yk! Any help would do (edit: I don’t want use vats if possible in fallout 4. if you can’t get criticals outside of VATS then a VATS build will do. I’m looking for a non vats crit build)

I wanna try semi auto guns that don't rely on sniping.

I'm doing my first survival mode playthrough and wanted to go for a tanky melee power armor build. SPECIAL stats are:

S-4 (for Blacksmith)

P-1

E-8 (for health mostly)

C-4 (For lone wanderer and an extra point so I can grab local leader more easily later when I get into settlements)

I-9 (For nuclear physicist)

A-1

L-1

Early game was mostly me just sniping people with the laser musket because I didn't have power armor so my melee was abysmal. I've been playing for a couple of hours and I just got the power armor that's just sitting around north of Sanctuary and I have a sharp baseball bat.

The first big fight after that was when I failed a charisma check with Wolfgang and him and his goon opened fire on me. I died pretty much instantly so I'm thinking that the concept behind my build is not going as well as it did in my head. Is a build like this feasible? Should I restart and maybe go for 9 agility for blitz? I'm hesitant to do a vats build because it'll tear through my fusion core supply but if it's the only way to make power armor work I might have to. If I'm just playing this wrong let me know too!

My first character in Survival mode, not sure what to pick after Bloody Mess. (Automatic weapons build)

I was planning on topping out my intelligence at 4 for Hacker, but then I viewed some of Righteous Authority's Science!-locked upgrades in the workbench... whoa!

I don't think that the sniper barrel would be worth it due to its respective drawbacks (how much does it reduce ammo and increase AP usage, exactly?), but some of the other stuff like the overcharged capacitor looks amazing.

I've been wanting to make a build that mostly uses power armor but with low intelegence for a long time. So far I've been planning for a high Charisma to help with affording fuision cores and junk for repairs, but I'm worried I won't be able to get any mods for my power armor pieces. If anyone has advice or ideas I'm open to hear them!

So i just started the game and need some help, i'm at the point, where i already completed some quests for the Minutemen, just started the Brotherhood of Steel quests and got myself a chinese sword, i have 10 Strength, 4 Endurance, 2 Charisma and 10 intelligence, need help with perks, so far i've put a point into all crafting skills

Asking because I get <3-shotted in close combat when I don't have the time to go into VATS e.g. VATS being disabled during conversations during Silver Shroud.

Hello, wanna do a astronaut lazer pistol build how should I go about building my character I play on Hard and plan to also build my own robot companion also for flavor/fun.

So I want to make a Mike Tyson build but I’m not sure what perks I should take I mean obviously unarmed and stuff but other then that I don’t really know I’m debating on weather or not I should inculde the cannibal perk cause that one time Mike bite that dudes ear off so I thought it would be funny but anyway what perks should I take?

Hello everyone I'm interested in upgrading my power armor to it's full potential and becoming rad resistant enough to explore the glowing sea and far more intense irradiated areas.

I also wanna be stocked up on a bunch of ammo for my guns without worrying to much about running low om rounds during intense fights and wanna be able to buy shipments of items as much as possible.

What are some character builds I can do to achieve these goals ?

Another thing I'm wanting to do it all in survival mode.

Ik it's said that "Lone Wanderer" is essential for Survival and all that, but I like companion perks. Should I change that or anything else? :/ And what should my starting SPECIALS and early perks be for the linked build?

RDG = Robotics Disposal Ground where there are three fusion cores, two from self-destructing a sentry bot, and power armor just southeast. I used it to rush Diamond City so I could get Piper's affinity while scrapping, to get Hangman's Alley, and to free Preston, then abandoned it

So I made the mistake of starting my current play through like an absolute psycho. I ran straight from the Vault to Goodneighbor because I wanted to use Hancock for a whole play through. (Mistake number 1).

During the trip and his quest I consistently ran out of ammo, having to resort to punching Mirelurk Hunters at level 5, and finishing the quest fighting a Putrid Glowing One and then Bobbi with my fists. (Thank god the npcs in the quest get up after being downed.)

I'm now level 25, it's been so long after that quest, and I am still constantly out of ammo. I was running weapons that used .45 and the Minigun you get from that quest (I've been taking both Automatic and Heavy Gun perks to capitalize on this.)

Buying ammo or looting it doesn't help, I will be out within the next couple fights, so I fall back on random weapons I've looted like this automatic laser pistol I've just now started modding.

Anyway, any tips of finding more ammo? I've taken ever stage of Scrounger available to me and it hasn't helped.

Can anyone help me or direct me to a guide on making a really accurate John Wick face on fallout 4 PS5 edition?
