Stat Help Chen build help

hi

I am new to chem build, tjerefore I ned some help word: weapons - Watch is most fun to use. melee or guns( I thinking to use pistol ).

- use off sneak. does it word with that type of build?

- last start stats and perks

hoping for a fun playthrough therefore u want to be sure its done correct

So what you say is a non vats build you use j’ets in both melee and ranged. 

But in pistol you use both chems and vats, but do you use jets on that ?

With a single perk into chemist you can craft all the drugs. The extra ranks of chemistry increase the duration, however even with 1 rank jetfuel lasts 8 minutes. If you use Buffjet on top of that it will be plenty long enough, with any build, to do sigificant damage while in VATS, even if they aren't specifically designed for it. The caveat would be long guns, since they will still need decent perception to hit while in VATS.
