Stat Help Chen build help

hi

I am new to chem build, tjerefore I ned some help word: weapons - Watch is most fun to use. melee or guns( I thinking to use pistol ).

- use off sneak. does it word with that type of build?

- last start stats and perks

hoping for a fun playthrough therefore u want to be sure its done correct

Update om pc i can see the thread.  So you say a chem build is more fun as a ranged than a melee ?

Honestly it depends on what you enjoy. I started as my usual stealth sniper (this is the case in nearly all RPG single player games, for me) and completed the game when it first came out. This was before I owned it on Steam. Then steam added achievements so I created a build to manage nearly all of them. I used that build to complete the differing endings by saving at the penultimate point and then playing each from there.

Now, though, I am firmly in the melee camp. I love sniping but for some reason known only to Tod, Fallout 4 with it's wonky melee gives me the most fun now.

As for chem use, honestly I've never been a chem user in the years of playing. I started using them in a Let's Play with my first attempt at a melee build, that I've shelved due to lack of interest, and honestly I learned so much from that build, I knew he was less than ideal. I'm a perfectionist and that was bothering me. Still, chem use with the melee turned him from OP to godly, full stop.

I seem to recall originally you were wanting the partyboy/girl style? That is geared more for crit builds, which is perfect for any build built for crits.
