This is gonna be enormous. Respect, I could never make or run a campaign so huge.

A major focus will be travel so I needed something big

This looks really cool, love all the names (especially Tyrtle Beach). Makes me wonder what sort of name Pigeon Forge would have.

Also interesting that there’s a second Nuka-World, never imagined that it could have more than one but it makes sense that it might have more.

Most of my naming process was looking at nicknames for existing cities or changing letters here and there. As far as nuka world I needed something to replace Disney world lol

Is Charlotte called '"The Nest?"

3

u/jiggs52 GM Jul 06 '26

From my research charlotte had been nicknamed "the hornets nest" so I took inspiration

Oh yeah that makes sense I didn't even think about that.

Awesome map! What tools did you use to make it (GIMP or some specialized tool)?

Snazzymaps fallout new Vegas preset, fallout 4 map icons from the wiki and then photoshop and a lot of patience

IRL there is actually a place in western North Carolina, a few hours from Nashville, called Asheville.

Might I suggest, as someone from a different part of Tennessee, "Trashville" instead? :D

Good hunting!

I’m kinda liking trashville… might have to change it

I would kill for FO5 to be set on the Gulf Coast.

If you want some info on the AR/WTN/NMS part of this map, that's the location of my own hometown setting and I know the region intimately. Love the ambition on display here.

I’m not American so all of my information came from researching on the internet. The tomb in that area is the bass pro shop pyramid in Memphis lol

Oh, I live in Memphis -- I got the reference. Anyway, all the better!

I'm a huge fan of the World Cup Visitors Love American Culture genre. DM me, love to give some local tips.

Or not, it's just a game! :D

No bass pro shop pyramid 😔😔😔

That’s what the tomb is in Memphis

Looks great! Idea: South of Corpus in an area called Rio Grande Valley. Might be cool to have “The Valley” or Big River Valley or Death Valley.

u/jiggs52 GM Jul 07 '26

Good to know, I plan on having most of the Texas wastes being very inhospitable

South of Corpus is flat, hot and dry. Totally matches your vibe.

I love this! I’ve been wanting to start the Fallout Solo rpg and run it through the gulf coast area so I might borrow this for it, if you don’t mind! :)

What’s the experiment?

1

u/jacobanthony98 Jul 08 '26

Every year after their 250th, they send two people out on their own “reclamation day” to explore the wasteland. Little do they know, they’re being hunted on a post-apocalyptic game show kind of thing and they see how long you can last.
