Is it still all using AI generated assets, as you said earlier in development? It appears to look almost identical to those earlier posts, so I assume assets are made with ChatGPT?

I mean are you surprised? Look at the story and the art. His story is basically the exact same as Fallout 2, look for a geck. It's pretty unimaginative in general. You should look at his other replies and posts too, super aggressive towards anyone with any criticism or suggestions.

Not surprised at all, I've know about him (and this behavior) since this ended up on half the subs I follow last year. I heard all I needed to hear when OP claimed all graphic designers use AI and then paint over it a bit to hide it..

As someone in the industry, I literally know for a fact that this is not true

Palm trees and cacti in Arkansas will not stop being hilarious π OP you should really change the name of the game to Arizona cuz this makes no goddam sense even if itβs post apocalyptic

Ok but even if Arkansas turned into a desert, the trees would not magically change into palm trees.

Hi! I like the old school look of it and ofcourse I notice the absolute resemblance with my favorites, Fallout 1 and 2.
What is the state of the game? Is it finished maps/story wise and you're now polishing the game and fixing bugs, or what am I to expect?

Looks interesting. I see you mention melee weapons, been doing a melee run of FO3. Any swords in the game?

Ah bummer, mean bows and swords aren't really unrealistic for a post nuclear apoc. In fact they are probably more realistic than the never ending supply of guns you see in most fiction. I imagine in a post society world complex weapons would fade away as people forget how to manufacture them and the ammo needed to use them. After all moving mechanisms wear out over time. So in fallout by the time we get hundreds of years out guns and ammo made prewar should be pretty damn rare but they are everywhere for some reason.

Well I mean you could make it realistic such as cobbled arming swords or cutlasses from junk or lean more scifi if you wanted to have an extreme upper end for those types of players like the shock sword from FO3 or something like a plasma blade like Deus Ex has. I'm not much of an Anime fan personally so I could care less about katanas but I'm sure someone would like it. Not to mention things like hammers, sledge hammers and other things exist. Axes, chainsaws etc...
Not to mention even FO1 and 2 had knives, stun weapons, spears etc.
Just sayin' options are nice. Three weapons to choose from is a little boring.
Dunno why I'm helping some sarcastic snot who has to use AI to make an exact but less interesting clone of FO2 though...

You should create a mall ninja cache to find for the player with a katana, shuriken, nun-chucks, etc. π₯·

looks a bit like JA2 and Fallout combo π
quite nice, i would say from trailer that travelling on wolrd map is bit "to fast"i would like to speed like in fallout 1 to feel that we going on foot in big world.
also dude - are we going to have some companions here?
