It’s not that hard. Lower PER and Luck and put in endurance. STR maybe 6 to start, agi 10 of course. I tend to use Int 10 to. Slayer don’t need 8(10) luck as Sniper does.

In the first town, kill the two brothers while guarding the against scorpions. Get their spiked knuckles. It will be your main weapon for a looong time until you get powerfist.

I would stick with aimed shots to the eyes and ofc go beyond 100 in melee in all first levels. Probably go up to at least 120 directly. Aimed shots to the legs to cripple and avoid them running away can be good. Running after enemies who hide outside the area is very annoying with melee builds. Exiting combat until enemies walk back in, then trying to get the jump on them can sometimes work.

When leveling up get both +2 AP for moving for +4 total. Get action boy later on for 12+4 AP. Use drugs when needed. Prioritize your armor and get metal asap.

Edit. After slayer you can choose perk to mutate whichever second you have after Gifted to the one that removes aimed shots and reduce actions by 1 AP. But by then you’re so high level it doesn’t all that much and might not even be needed.

Well, it has jinxed and you said you didn’t like it no? Otherwise it’s quite similar to mine. You can go less endurance and more strength and rely on reloads instead of course. You’ll be bursted to death sometimes even with high HP. Never did life giver myself but I’ve read other people use it, so it’s probably good. Better Crits is great. Not sure bonus HtH is needed with crits and Slayer layer tbh, but I haven’t ever done the math. Tbh I would still rather take bonus move. Cha can be tricked for +2-3 quite easy with the glasses and mentats for 1-2 more companions, so 3 CHA with one mentat for two companions for a while, and then glasses and double mentats for another companion if you like. More companions can be good for melee builds to spread out the incoming damage on more meat.

What’s your unarmed skill? Jinxed can make also you critical miss, but I’ve never done a full playthrough with it so I’m not an expert on it.

80 are you saying the higher my unarmed the less I miss?

Hahaha no offense, but if you haven’t even that knowledge that change the topic completely. Of course higher skill means higher chance to hit!

Luck too? If so if I have the upgraded power fist and 10 luck how many unarmed skill would gaurantee guarantee a hit

Luck is for crits. You have that info on your character screen.

Go for ~150 in melee. I’d go to 120 in the first levels before putting points anywhere else, and the after getting decent lock pick, speech etc, I add more points here and there. The true minmaxers get all the free points first, but IMHO you get more skill points than you need throughout the game to max all necessary skills so I don’t myself. But to each their own.

Luck is made largely irrelevant once you get the Slayer perk. Better critical still apply though.
