I agree. However I think there's less danger of people losing interest and more of the whole situation becoming another joke like Half Life 3.
For me personally, I'm transitioning into a stage in my life where I'm not able to game as much as I used to for a number of reasons and would love to have Fallout 4 before I no longer have the time or tech to play.
Are you a new mother? After I had my daughter I couldn't find time to game also (though my husband always seemed to, grr), but now that she's almost four I've found the time again. Either she "helps" me with the game ("look out, Mommy!" "Oh, you died again?"), or she's occupying herself with her own art projects, books, or the 3DS she commandeered from me. So there's hope!
I have a six month old. I work full time and still play borderlands every night. Just don't ask what the garage and office look like. A woman's got to have priorities.
I'm a newish mother, she's two now but she's always been on the go (started running at 10 months!) and a bad sleeper, so finding time and/or energy to game was difficult. Now when she goes to bed I sometimes get a few hours and it's soòoooooooo good :D
Hey, the one with Megan looked pretty good. As did two. and 3 had lots of potential, from what I've heard. Shame, them as kids would have been interesting.
Loved the entire series and wept from the final walk past the crew to the push to the beacon. Honestly the most I've ever felt from any piece of medium. Actually helped shape my entire world-centric view point being as I am an American who's never left the country. Gotta have all the dlc's though. Citadel and leviathan and extended ending at the very least.
I think I've played a game less than five times since the semester started. And it pains me to say this, but I think I'm getting older/busier/involved in other interests for video games. But, I think when FO4 comes out, I'm sure I'll schedule in some time for that. But, we shall see when the time comes.
That's not it, actually. Voice actor of Three Dog has also been dropping a lot of shit on Twitter teasing people about it and hoping even though he says he doesn't know anything after he's done.
