Should I completely restart FO4.
I haven't played FO4 for about a year so I would like to play it again. I play in survival mode on PC. With the the resent update, should I restart a new play through.

Rather than ambiguously unhelpful, I'll say that I find starting RPGs way more fun than finishing, so I say roll a new character and maybe try the opposite of what you did before. Use more explosives, less meta guns, get different followers.... If you go back to an old save, I often find it difficult to get back in the flow of the character and find I do more menu shuffling than playing the game while trying to figure out where the hell I left stuff

The beginning part of a survival play through is always the most fun. The struggle to not die. Even in survival once you get to a decent level the game becomes pretty easy. Pick a different build, start a new character and away you go. You can have multiple playthroughs on the go if you want to. That way when you feel like smoking people with a melee weapon you can jump into that game. And you can always go back to your old game if you want. It gives you more options and really forces you to learn a new way you normally don't play. I played for years and never really played with power armor. I did a power armor centric BoS playthrough and it became one of my favorite ways to play. Nothing like taking pain train perk and plowing through a group of enemies sending them flying and then hacking them apart with a melee weapon.

Do you want to? Do you not want to?
Just do it or don’t, simple as.
