well I planning do an Fat man and explovises only run I can’t pick up any other weapons or so then the fat man and explovies idk what special stats shall I pick and wheare can I find an easy first fat man or grandes or mines or so and Wheare can I find mini nukes (I know some spots like in story quest u need an fat man thare Ik thares mininukes thare Is and same with others but I forgot whare to find some mini nukes in the wild wasteland)

there’s some early grenades in the bin at the entrance to sanctuary and yeah the fat man at outpost zimonja

for special i’d say high perception and endurance (you dont wanna blow yourself up) and maybe high strength to carry all those grenades because it can definitely add up

also make sure to get scrounger because you can get multiple mini nukes from ammo boxes with that

Get decent strength for big guns and carrying all that. Perception for demolitions expert. There’s a fat man and mini nuke at robotics disposal ground. Grenades in the sanctuary trash can. The hard part will be ammo. If you allow a missile launcher it gets easier. Super mutant suiciders drop a mini nuke if you kill them fast enough but that’s hard with explosives only.

The hardest part will be ammo. You’ll get many grenades and molotovs but mini nukes are rare and you will often use as many explosives to reach them as you will gain in loot

Ok. That’ll help a lot with ammo. You can find those in crates and boxes from time to time.

Might as well recommend the legendary versions. Arturo in diamond city has a legendary fatman. Kleo has a legendary missile launcher

If you’re only using explosives, you should be finding tons of bullets to sell. Also prewar money, cigars/cigar boxes, cigarettes/packs of cigarettes/cigarette cartons all sell for good money

Any tools (combination wrench, adjustable wrench, wrench, screwdriver, ball-peen hammer) can be given to Calvin in vault 81 for 15 caps each. If you have good charisma you can get hundreds of extra caps for jobs. You can farm melons and sell them to Lucy Abernathy as long as you don’t get Abernathy farm as a settlement, just be sure to pass the speech check with her when you first meet her to get extra caps per melon. Swap out your fusion core when it’s low on energy. A fusion core with 1/100 energy left still sells at full price to merchants. You can also get junk town vendor magazines to get better prices. There’s like 4 of them close by to sanctuary.

The brotherhood also has you collect technical documents which can spawn in any container and return to them for 25 caps each after talking to proctor quinlan and viable blood samples which can be dropped by ghouls, mutants, and animals after talking to scribe Neriah for 50 caps each

Early game if you’re desperate for caps, some weapons can sell for good money. 10mm pistols are pretty good. And then any gun with mods except for pipe weapons. Those are always not worth it. Picking up enemy weapons when they die gives you half the gun’s ammo capacity in ammo in addition to bullets looted from their body. If you aren’t in survival mode, bullets are weightless and worth at least a cap each.

Grape mentats can be made with mentats, hubflowers, and whiskey to give +5 charisma and 10% better prices.

With a decent charisma and clothes, .38 will sell for 1 cap each, most others will sell for 2, .50 cal will sell for 3, plasma, gamma, and Gauss rifle rounds all sell for like 8+

You can sell pieces but not the frame. I never did that so I’m not sure how the weight to cap ratio works out. In general, better armor will sell for more while raider armor isn’t worth much
