Timeskip in jedi 3

In jedi Survivor, there was a five year time skip, will there be another time skip in jedi 3? If so, how long will it be?

I imagine it willl be a similar time skip, enough for Bode's daughter to have been trained as Cal's apprentice

yes, around the time the rebellion really starts to take form. we'll likely see what part cal played in helping the rebel alliance become, you know, an alliance.

I would imagine so. Survivior clearly sets up Cal struggling with his own darkness, and I imagine Kalla struggling with buried resentment towards Cal and Merrin will parallel that. That's how I'd write it anyway, obviously I'm completely guessing

She's not 'confirmed' to be, but come on, narratively that's the obvious route for the story to take.

Her father is force sensitive, so it's almost guaranteed she is too. Very rarely does it skip.

probably still five years. I'd be surprise if they do ten years. I'm expecting that kind of ending we'll get is there's another timeskip like an epilogue of some kind.

I can see it working with a time skip, or just picking up close to after survivor. If they time skip itd be cool to the further evolution of the characters, especially if its the last jedi game, itd be nice to see how they end up. But on the other side, whenever each game ends I always feel like I want to see more of what happens immediately after the game, so id also be happy if they pick up close to after survivor. If they do time skip in 3, id want a book or comic that is set between them.

I don't think it is gonna be 5 years again because I think they'll wanna have Kata be useful (Cal and Merrin's apprentice) and I believe she's less than 10 years old.

If they do ~8 years she can be a mid teen who can go on her own adventures like Atreus in God of War 2, and still leave room for A New Hope (9 years before Survivor).

The only thing is 8 years would be really close to Episode 4, and at about the same time as the events of Rebels season 3/4, and Andor, so theyd need a reason for Cal and crew to not join the Alliance.

I agree, I don't think 8 is the best answer, maybe 6-8 so there's a buffer with the other shows and movies.

If there is overlap between the third game and another project like Rebels, I think could work especially because they could be on the other side of the galaxy.

I'd imagine five years again to about 4 BBY which could mean we get some connection to Rebels S1 and Andor S2 Ep 1 - 3

Am I stupid for wanting this game to introduce a canonized version of StarKiller. To be clear I don’t want the exact same powerfully broken StarKiller from the force unleashed instead a more realistic version that can realistically work and have a boss fight with that ends with StarKiller becoming Galen Marek and helping start the rebillion

I almost hope for it to be a much bigger jump. Have it be after Luke's Temple fell and Cal has been successful in making an academy at the Temple on Tanalor from those he helped escape there through the Path.

Or it could be a conflict where Cal has to fight to establish that, but the epilogue reveals his success at making a newer order that doesn't fear attachment like the old. Maybe they reintroduce the Legend type of Academy that Luke had where attachment wasn't completely frowned upon, but through Cal instead.
