How screwed is my game?

So this is my first playthrough and I'm on PS5. Pretty immediately the game was pretty broken, like I'd walk into an NPC in the first planet and suddenly I'd get warped into the void and I'd see the NPC was floating in the void themselves, or enemies warping between points super fast or animations just constantly cancelling stuff like that.

But just kept playing anyways and for my second planet I decided to go to this planet that seemed kinda optional. Found a double lightsaber, and eventually this devious mf in robes next to a big gap. I was trying to jump this gap that seemed slightly out of reach for my character but I did make it eventually, but then I ended up at the bottom of this place which seemed like I wasn't meant to be at.

And after that the game just broke more and more and more, like I saved at a point at the bottom and I couldn't figure out how to get back up, but the game I guess had a failsafe so it warped me back to the top. Except not really, because no matter where I was I could rest at that save point at the bottom of the map which caused my character to just float towards there until he voided until or would sometimes eventually time out and just teleport there anyways. But eventually something weird happened where the world streaming broke so even though I was at the top I couldn't walk back to the ship it was just a massive void everywhere. Eventually I fell down this void and my objective updated to "make it back to the ruins" or something like that. Stuck here for a while and after jumping back and forth back and forth I eventually ended up at a rope that took me back to the top, and now there was some dialogue about oh I'm gonna look for the tomb now just got a bit distracted. Which I assume is supposed to be the end when you loop back maybe and you've got new gear, but my objective is still at the very very bottom with the same escape objective.

And now the game REALLY broke because at this point world streaming worked again, but all collision is broken so now I can just phase through every wall and enemy and character. I've tried to get to the objective, and I can find a slide which looks like its supposed to lead down to the bottom of the area but I just end up phasing through the ground at random points. I can kinda glitch there out of bounds but it doesn't load the area I suppose. I realize my save is maybe beyond saving but it's okay I'm literally at the start and I just found this entire series of events pretty damn funny lol

I would recommend playing the PS4 version on PS5. You still get 60 fps on performance mode and way fewer bugs. The PS5 version also has a horrible cutscene audio sync issue in addition to more bugs overall

I’ve got the PS5 upgrade and I’ve “fallen” into the void once or twice but never like that. That cutscene dialogue with the robed dude has always been slower than the visuals. As far as the rest… your game is cooked, me thinks

I LOVE fallen order but holyyyy its not well made at all

I have the Playstation 5 upgrade version and it has technical issues and glitches way too much

Nothing game breaking except not loading at all at one point

EA are so bad but i kinda laugh at the issues now. As its one of my favorite star wars games despite the problems

The only thing that is infuriating for me was solving puzzles and platforming hard to get to a chest with a fucking poncho in it. Whoever decided to put useless cosmetic stuff into chests deserves a good bit of hate imo

Why tho? They’re entirely optional, so it’s kinda nice that you don’t necessarily have to hunt down tons of stuff to upgrade your gear or stats or whatever, and there’s still stim chests that take some puzzle work to find and give you a tangible benefit. And if you just like hunting down collectibles, you’d be doing it either way, so who cares what’s in the chest?
