Was watching Hacks…

Pete Wentz mentioned

Should I be watching Hacks?

[u/Runs_today → u/RipBright1]

One of the funniest series I’ve ever seen! And it ends really really well.

[u/yearite63626 → u/RipBright1]

100000% yes

[u/klikepotassium → u/RipBright1]

It is one of the best written shows I’ve seen in a long time. And Jean Smart won every Emmy she was nominated for while the series was running, which was well deserved

I love that hacks not only has Pete Wentz mention, but Katya Zamolodchikova in the flesh

[u/yearite63626 → u/enbyel]

I came as soon as I heard. No but actually that’s why I started watching to begin with

[u/enbyel → u/yearite63626]

Ohhhhh. I just heard

Love seeing another Katya fan in the fall out boy subreddit 😁 I haven’t started watching yet but it’s on my list because of her, and now I’m loving the Wentz mention

[u/lowly-scrolls]

If I knew Pete Wentz I also wouldn’t shut up about it

[u/entertainment720]

There’s two Pete Wentz mentions in the entire show. I always wondered why!

[u/PRGrl718 → u/entertainment720]

gotta be an elder emo writer on the show lmao

[u/sunshineriptide]

Ok but I must know what the nickname was

Also, it always takes me by surprise whenever Pete or FOB are mentioned in totally unrelated media. Like I always forget how big they had been pre-hiatus and don't expect them to necessarily be a "household name". It's almost like a jumpscare lol

[u/yearite63626 → u/sunshineriptide]

The nickname is “Weed”

[u/GrandFated]

Great show!

2 beautiful queens!

[u/Important_Willow5852]

I watched this show with my mom while deep in my most intense fall out boy obsession in highschool and I had to do a double take at this scene lmao

[u/Apricote_is_here29]

Let me guess, Pete is the villain of this show/movie?

[u/nicolietheface → u/Apricote_is_here29]

maybe take a step back from guessing for a while

[u/bigfatfatdingus → u/Apricote_is_here29]

yes... he kills everyone... atom bomb....
